This is exactly what I am talking about. "Ethnic cleansing"? Are you serious? These idiots sang a racist song. They're expelled and their chapter is closed; that's fine. But now people are going to start equating some dumbasses to Nazi Final Solution SS battalions. You sound so smug it's not funny. A week ago, you'd have no knowledge of a frat called SAE at Oklahoma. Now, because you've read a news piece somewhere, you are schooled on the history of organization and its shortcomings. Anyone who thinks these boys shouldn't have their testes nailed to the wall is complacent in racism too, right?isadore;1712077 wrote:no they had ethnically cleansed the OU SAE. At the time of the incident there were no African Americans that were members of their chapter. -

gosh a ruddies. Over a decade ago they allowed two African Americans to join. Since then none. That is ethnic cleansing in practice. And their song that is taught to pledges just reflects the philosophy that supports the practice. I knew who SAE was since college and this incident was not a surprise. It is just returning to its found principles as the one fraternity originating in the Antebellum South.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1712082 wrote:This is exactly what I am talking about. "Ethnic cleansing"? Well you've got it all figured out. For the rest of us, my point is that the guys who took part in this should suffer consequences. I just think our society has gone wacko in how we all act outraged at these things when in reality, all of us have probably done things that would look horrible if filmed in a 10 second clip and published online. Even you Isadore.isadore;1712086 wrote:gosh a ruddies. Over a decade ago they allowed two African Americans to join. Since then none. That is ethnic cleansing in practice. gosh a ruddies, you really want to have it both ways. Paying lip service to punishing them then repeatedly trying to mitigate what they have done. Calling them "boys" They are men not boys, they are adults. Some people enlist in our military and die for their country at that age. Some others commit murders and end up on death row at that age. They are adults, not boys with the responsibilities of being adults.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1712089 wrote:Well you've got it all figured out. Intimating they are taken out of context with repeatedly talking about "10 second clips." The context of these comments could be followed from the learning of this song to the singing it. It is blatant racism through and through. And they as adults are responsible for their actions.

I don't excuse their actions at all. They are expelled and their house is gone. Those are the consequences of their offenses. I just wish the rest of us would climb off our high horses just because we've been lucky enough to have never been caught with our pants down.isadore;1712090 wrote:gosh a ruddies, you really want to have it both ways. I'm sure there are no all black fraternities either. We celebrate black colleges, black high schools, black organizations, but not white ones. Not racist though!isadore;1712077 wrote:no they had ethnically cleansed the OU SAE. At the time of the incident there were no African Americans that were members of their chapter. -

Go a ruddies Mr. Doctor Boogie you are blaming the witnesses for being offended by this disgusting behavior. And for realizing this is not 10 seconds of bad behavior by "kids." It is an adult who over an extended period of time made decisions that lead to this clip. Joining a racist fraternity, learning it despicable songs that express not just racism but an endorsement of lynching, singing them and then leading the singing.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1712095 wrote:I don't excuse their actions at all. I concur. Too bad a person has to sift through all the politards and the !!!HOT TAEKS!!! to find the handful of views typed by people actually using their brain to make logical conclusions.Fab4Runner;1712037 wrote:I agree with both of these. -

And they still exist as RACIST organizations. Glad to see you support racist organizations who deprive young Americans of quality education because of the color of their skin.
