  I find it difficult to believe that most women wouldn't at LEAST get upset if they saw a grown man in the ladies restroom with them.

  I think the guys who think it is perfectly fine for a man to use the woman's bathroom should put it to a test and start using woman's bathrooms all the time and see what sort of reaction and looks they get.

  Again, would someone answer my question as to what constitutes the line between advocating individual expression of one's true self and correcting a mental disorder? Should we stop finding a cure for autism and instead accept it as part of normal behavior and mental state?
  
  Since many of you have taken a rational stance to this thread topic, surely you can educate someone like me on which mental disorders are okay and which are not; while explaining the logic behind your argument. This'll be good.

  First you have to prove Bruce has a mental disorder. People don't consider a gender identity crisis a mental disorder since it's part of LBGT. If you say Bruce has a mental disorder you're saying all gays do too.

  It's called Gender Dysphoria and that is what Bruce has. It's a mental disorder. Surgery is listed as a treatment option but there is conflicting research on if that actually helps and many doctors heavily advise against it since it doesn't actually cure the disorder.
  
  I've yet to read anything about homosexuality being a mental disorder but I'm certainly open to reading about it.

  Actually I'll be a Dr in about 2 years. I'm also retired at 35 and never have to work again with a nice pension from the government and a very successful small business. But hey why not get paid to get my PhD at Ohio State, I'm still young and all.

  I saw enough stupidity in this thread that I had to address it. I've barely even talked about the whole sex change shit and mostly have been focused on stamping out the stupidity.

She is not smart enough to get a Phd from OSU, I'm not sure how her pension from her branch is good enough to live comfortably when she is only 35 and was not an officer, and if she is running a small business isn't that considered work?

  I'm not smart enough? Yeah okay. I finished top 10 in my class in HS of over 500. Full academic ride to college. I get $3100 a month from the VA for the rest of my life. 100% disability. I'm not running a business. I'm a part owner of a 3D printing company with some of my college friends. I'm just an investor. You sound jealous or something?

  If I recall she had a fairly impressive degree before she enlisted so I wouldnt think it would be a stretch for her to continue on and get her PHD. Now as for what the Navy pension and running a small business I cannot confirm, nor deny, those.
