And that's why Kasich should be our next president. Republicans would be dumb not to nominate him. He has experience in the State level and National level. His budgeting has been amazing and the best in the country the last four years. He has improved education government finances and the state economy in his four years. He also isn't hell bent against many of the social issues that usually hurt republicans.

and CoA hates him. That alone makes him electable!

Good excerpt from an article by Stephen Hayes:

    "We have a different view.

Not only is this election not about nothing, it is being fought over exactly the kinds of things that ought to determine our elections.

It’s about the size and scope of government. It’s about the rule of law. It’s about the security of the citizenry. It’s about competence. It’s about integrity. It’s about honor.
It’s about a government that makes promises to those who have defended the country and then fails those veterans, again and again and again. It’s about a president who offers soothing reassurances on his sweeping health care reforms and shrugs his shoulders when consumers learn those assurances were fraudulent. It’s about government websites that cost billions but don’t function and about “smart power” that isn’t very smart. It’s about an administration that cares more about ending wars than winning them, and that claims to have decimated an enemy one day only to find that that enemy is still prosecuting its war against us the next. It’s about shifting red lines and failed resets. It’s about a president who ignores restrictions on his power when they don’t suit him and who unilaterally rewrites laws that inconvenience him. It’s about a powerful federal agency that targets citizens because of their political beliefs and a White House that claims ignorance of what its agents are up to because government is too “vast.” In sum, this is an election about a president who promised to restore faith in government and by every measure has done the opposite."<o:p></o>

OLUMBUS, Ohio -- State government finished the 2014 fiscal year with a nearly $800 million surplus, according to figures from the Office of Budget and Management. Ohio's fiscal year closed at the end of June. It marks the fourth consecutive year the state has ended with a surplus.
"For the fourth year in a row the state of Ohio has balanced its budget and produced a significant budget surplus, with tax revenues exceeding estimates and state spending kept below projections," said Tim Keen, the director of the Office of Budget and Management.
But Ohio has the 7th largest population; therefore, it has the 7th largest deficit. /idiotic argument

It all comes down to which side is more motivated to go out and vote. Many were disenfranchised with the President (not uncommon at the midterm on their second term) and that trickled down to "all democrats are bad". This time around it was a pretty historic sweep through and it truly is just a vot against the President.

Thank you for saying "a historic" instead of that lame old English way.

LOL, so now the government needs to hold your hand and guide you to a healthier lifestyle CHOICE? Brings the lulz.

First, the government should deal with its own obesity, because it is choking the rest of the economy and society.

I love how he actually tried to make it seem so normal. Oh yea, it's just to make pop the same price as water, you know cuz then poor people will drink water instead of pop... Ooooh ok. Also, you can get a 24 pack of water for $2.99 when on sale. I'm pretty sure it's already cheaper.

I was just saying why the measure was on the ballot, not my opinion on the matter.

There was a similar measure on the ballot in San Francisco as well.

They tried to fuck with our soda consumption and limit the sizes. It passed, then got rejected with the quickness.

And there it is, in a nutshell, the complete insanity of liberalism, and elitists who think they know better than everyone else.
