ISIS beheads American Journalist
-
sportchamppsVideo was definitely real IMO.
I do however question two things.
The voice on the video was dubbed over. I wonder if the man doing the speaking was the guy who beheaded him
secondly, I have my doubts that the video really took place yesterday. I think it was filmed a while back and then their message was dubbed over to make it fit what they were going for. I suspect this because of how well he looked prior to the beheading. He looked pretty healthy and well fed despite being captured almost two years ago. -

I've read "about 50" and have seen the same point brought up that vball10set has alluded to. Maybe you are reading your own comments over and over again?SportsAndLady;1646183 wrote:I have read probably a thousand comments on this video and you are the only person who seems to think that. I just don't see the purpose of IS doing that.
Anyway, it seems pretty real to me. -
HelloAgainI'm not trying to be insensitive here or say he didn't fight or was a coward or whatever, in fact he seems to be the very opposite of a coward based on the life he lived.
But why would you just kneel there and wait to be beheaded? I can't possibly predict my behavior in a situation like that, but I'd think I'd be struggling in some way. -

They might have pretended to do this to him several times before the real thing. Who knows.HelloAgain;1646197 wrote:I'm not trying to be insensitive here or say he didn't fight or was a coward or whatever, in fact he seems to be the very opposite of a coward based on the life he lived.

Well good for you but I am not seeing it. Not saying it isn't out there, I just haven't read them and don't understand why they would fake the video.rydawg5;1646193 wrote:I've read "about 50" and have seen the same point brought up that vball10set has alluded to. KB0938I wonder if anything happens that isnt obama's fault to Quaker?
Also,Obama goes golfing... bush hid out on his ranch in texas. Its not like its unprecedented. But im sure Quaker and Cc have a crazy theory on this -

How the hell can you possibly defend the president turning away from a press conference about the beheading of an American citizen by a terrorist group to a round of golf?KB0938;1646223 wrote:I wonder if anything happens that isnt obama's fault to Quaker?

Not defending as much as pointing out Bush did verrrry similar things but right wingers like to act like what hes doing is unheard of.SportsAndLady;1646226 wrote:How the hell can you possibly defend the president turning away from a press conference about the beheading of an American citizen by a terrorist group to a round of golf?
For the record i think its wrong on both accounts -

Uhhh, no, I would argue that left wingers (aka, black people) like to bring up Bush every time someone criticizes Obama.KB0938;1646227 wrote:Not defending as much as pointing out Bush did verrrry similar things but right wingers like to act like what hes doing is unheard of.

Am I wrong? Say a bad thing about Obama in front of 100 black people and 98 of them will get defensive and blame bush for something.HelloAgain;1646232 wrote:ahhh. there it is -

AKA deflecting blame/heat, that is people's defense of Obama lolSportsAndLady;1646231 wrote:Uhhh, no, I would argue that left wingers (aka, black people) like to bring up Bush every time someone criticizes Obama. -

idk, never talk shit about Obama in my day to day life, much less enough to have a sample size of 100 black people. But none of that has anything to do with the left wingers = black people remark which is what I found telling.SportsAndLady;1646235 wrote:Am I wrong? I didn't say left wingers = black people. I said a good portion of left wingers that get defensive about Obama are black people.HelloAgain;1646241 wrote:idk, never talk shit about Obama in my day to day life, much less enough to have a sample size of 100 black people. As for your first sentence, I didn't realize if you say "if you sample 100 _______" that means you actually had to sample 100 _________. ??? -

aka is traditionally understood to stand for "also known as" which would indicated something is a synonym for the preceding term. If you used it incorrectly then I suppose your intention could have been different.SportsAndLady;1646231 wrote:Uhhh, no, I would argue that left wingers (aka, black people) -

Okay I used it incorrectly. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me and understand that I do not believe that all democrats are black people. SMHHelloAgain;1646250 wrote:....

KB0938Cant wait for the next term when the exact same shit happens. Presidential candidates are all damn near identical when in office. Only time theyre different is when theyre running and how they project themselves. Which honestly is fine by me,because compared to other countries. Its a cake walk to live here

Who gives a fuck about bush? Classic deflection tactic right there.KB0938;1646227 wrote:Not defending as much as pointing out Bush did verrrry similar things but right wingers like to act like what hes doing is unheard of.

pmoney25Some of you obviously haven't read a history book. Our involvement in the Middle East for the better part of the last 60 years is a major factor in the birth of terrorism. This video and act is barbaric and inexcusable but if you are being intellectually honest with yourself, when people over there hear or see children and civilians killed by drones, is that not barbaric? Is it ok because it is a machine and not a person?
We are being baited into another war. They know what they are doing. They know they can't defeat us in battle but they can keep us busy and spending trillions more.
Another thing I find amusing is this idea America or Americans are in constant danger from terrorists. There are on average 15k homicides per year in the United States, you are more likely to be murdered by your neighbor than by a terrorists. -

I highly doubt the IS are thinking "we can't defeat them but let's start some shit to get them to spend more money!!"pmoney25;1646274 wrote:Some of you obviously haven't read a history book. The IS, IMO, are religiously batshit crazy and truly believe in what they say because they are blindly following some bullshit god.
When you let religion rule your world, weird shit happens.
