Definitely not enough. It's a coping mechanism. That's how a lot of comedians deal with their problems. They turn it into a joke and when the crowd is laughing at it, it gives you the feeling that it's OK and everyone goes through what you're feeling. But then the show ends. And you're back in your hotel room with just your thoughts and you forget that other people are going through that too and feel like you're all alone. It sucks.

Exactly. The depressed always need to remember 2 things: millions of others are going through the same thing, and there is a lot of help available.

Didn't realize we had a real life comedian in the room. Thanks for the explanation...but yeah I was just trying to be a dick.

Underrated: Garp, one of his best roles.

Overrated: Hook, it was hated by everyone including Spielberg, Roberts and Hoffman.

I wouldn't say Hook was hated by everyone, I think if you were a child in the 5-12 range at that time, you probably enjoyed it and still do. I was 10 when it came out and I watched it a ton growing up.

For being a comedian, Sherm isn't very funny.

    Thanks.

Well theoretically there is an opening in the comedian hierarchy now Sherm. Good Luck.

Hook was a children's movie that most children loved. Not overrated at all.

What we've learned from this is that comedians suck at life and are severely depressed. Source: sherm.

Did anyone see the article on Yahoo about all of the "winners" tweeting negative posts to his daughter? People irk me.
