And what exactly would LJ post?

No? Just pointing out the obvious as Pick6 did. Nothing about my posting resembles LJ, your gimmick is weak.

So great that the site that donations are being run through had to disable their comments due to how horribly racist they tended to be. So yeah, no looting or violence...just spreading hate.http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/a-bunch-of-terrible-people-have-raised-over-130-000-fo-1625106827
Point is they can support a cause without being thuggers.

The tax payers don't always foot the bill. There is a reason cops usually belong to some police organization that provides legal coverage. And even if they do for the criminal trial, the cop might have to get his own lawyer for the civil trial.

And how many from the White House will be attending that funeral?

Hmm indeed. Obviously both sides will twist it to fit their own narrative. I wonder if the guy who recorded it ended up getting lucky with his video chat partner. He didn't even slow down on the shmooze as the shots were going off outside. : thumbup:

Did I hear correctly that at Brown's funeral, a family member told the audience that on the day Brown died, he had been "out spreading the wor of Jesus"?

That these types of lies and flights of fancy are acceptable in he black community explains a lot about why they are in the circumstances they are in.

Every funeral I've attended has glorified the deceased in a way everyone knew wasn't true. The guy who's divorced 3 times and cheated on every wife he had was a family man, the teenager who got drunk and hit a telephone pole was a loving son and devoted brother, the raging asshole was just a guy who wanted to leave the world better than he found it, you get the point. Certainly not unique to the black community. You see it in virtually every celebrity death too.

Besides, maybe he was really religious? Being a dumb criminal and believing a book is the direct word of god are not mutually exclusive, they go together like peas & carrots.

I have been to plenty of funerals and never heard patent lies at any of them. The kid was strong arm robbing a quicki mart before he died, not spreading faith and works.

Yes, I am sure MB was roaming the streets and spreading the word of jesus. He needed break from his hard work, so he decided to rob a convenience store. Just the way jesus would like it!

Lol what are you meaning by "black community"? Maybe you should change that to some "black neighborhoods". How much time have you spent in various black neighborhoods to come to this conclusion? You see a things in the media and automatically assume that it applies to all black people. Well pal it doesn't.

Black community means the collective societal norms put forth by urban black communities. I spend time in this urban setting five days a week. The voice this community speaks with is what I refer to. the beautification of this kid in Ferguson because he was killed by a white cop is being done and accepted by this community. Blacks who point out the ridiculousness of this are, and will be mocked and shunned by this same community.

    Maximum jimmie rustle detected.

Plenty of criminals are also religious. It would actually make me think less of Brown if he believed a fairy tale was real life, but lots of people good and bad, moral and unmoral, do.

lol yeah, my sarcasm clearly is a sign that my jimmies are rustled. I think 90% of your posts on this thread are a better example.

..and my "rolling eyes" emoticon is a symbol of sarcasm as well, and I agree with like_that you do make some valid points throughout--but I still think you're an idiot...
