What are the top 5 website you frequent in a week (as of now)?

I mean this in the most sincere way and I hope Justin isn't offended:

How in the hell is the OC #1 for most of you? Place is fairly dead anymore

I can't see why he would be, he's hardly on here anymore himself. Even though there's only the usual suspects on here, I still enjoy the banter and sometimes good info and insight, especially on the sports forums.

This isn't uncommon. The other popular sites many of us used to/still get on like JJ Huddle & Yappi have died down considerably. The last time I was on JJ's (over a year ago), the place was on life support and it seems like a lot of the posts on Yappi are just a user with multiple alters (see "said/salto" over here) trolling the site. It's gotten so bad in their general forum that Yappi himself is starting multiple threads to create chat.

Why would you be on grindr.com often? The site has no functionality, it's just a place to download the app.

I'm starting to hit up www.dlazz.net more. It might creep into my top 5 soon.

I buy lots of their apparel.

Many of the Ohio sports forums have sucked for awhile, I cannot hardly go to SEOPreps, Yappi, or Rocket Corner anymore. Even the ol' MVL Forum is pretty nonexistent.

They do. I like to get their name out there. Plus, I like to advertize I'm always up for a good dicking.

My guess is that it's a combination of younger users growing up and moving on (starting families, settling down, leaving the gangsta internet life behind) and the others taking to social media and more specialized sites like buckeyeplanet, obr, rcf for their fix.

I think a lot is this:

I imagine forums could come back around a little more, but they won't be what they used to be. We all know what JJ used to be. I don't know what Yappi, SEOPreps, or Rocket Corner used to be, I probably have only read them in the last 5ish years. For the MVL Forum, a lot of it is the original users have grown up and moved on (not around the area anymore, families, etc.)...but, I also think that many don't know about it (the MVL Forum started 13 years ago, with no marketing but word of mouth and 1 newspaper article). If the forums want to survive, they have to do some marketing -- especially if they are as specific as the MVL Forum is (location and sports). Like any other website, if they want to be "good," they cannot just continue to operate by word of mouth or on their old members.

Can they rebound from the grave? Maybe not completely, but could at least get more participation.

Not offended at all. The OC isn't in my top 5 lately, though not necessarily by choice. I am trying to spend more time on here now that my free time is starting to pick back up.

A lot of people bitch about this site being dead, etc., but I still really enjoy it. I find something entertaining to read or post about pretty much daily.

Ive got no issue with the traffic on the OC. The topics I enjoy posting in and reading constantly have new posts.
