  As said before, about everyone on here is a douche to some degree. Turning every douchey comment into some "COME AT ME BRO" challenge is the sort of "mountain out of molehill" thing that if everyone here did it all the time, would lead to this site having 5000 post arguments daily on every single thread, all about nothing.
  
  Go to the basement and look at the HI SKOO FUTBAWL related thread and think to yourself, "Is this what I want society to be?" It's basically this huge, moronic argument where one person is playing an over-the-top role, another person is debating him seriously (or pretending to) and a third person is totally in impotent nerd rage mode using stale mom jokes almost as frequently as he probably uses food stamps. All because everyone wants to have the last word in their stupid nonsensical argument that most people don't care about.

  Why can't you just take the "ribbing" like everyone else? Now, durkie's response in the wedding thread was obviously over the top, but if someone wants to talk about your weekend trip to Mars, and say "/mb'd," why can't you just go with it?

  I enjoy posting here about sports and trivia and movies and what-not, but the jerkiness has to stop. It is only a few of the people here but they are very noisy, and don't respond to PMs unless you are ETB where you make them public. Apparently there is a fight going on in craptown, Ohio.

  Because it has chased good posters away, and it was funny a year ago with me, and not so much any more. There is a difference between "ribbing" (which I can take, but you guys can't handle) and harassment. It has been over the line for months now. Let it go (apologies for a Disney reference).

  No, but since he's been (or still is) a mod, I do know that he has never posted anything in the mod forum concerning not wanted to be here because of this person or that comment. To Justin privately, I don't know, but if so, Justin hasn't mentioned it to the rest of us. I do know he's, in the past, said on the mod forum that due to things like work and family, he hasn't had a great deal of time to be here. If there's more to it than that, I haven't been privy to any discussion of it "behind closed doors", so to speak.
