The great burrito debate, revisited...

  • justincredible
We've had this debate before but it's been a while. I use to be firmly in the Qdoba camp. I've since converted to Chipotle, though I still really like Qdobe for some things. We don't have a Moe's around here, but I've had it once elsewhere and it was "meh."

Hot Head has started popping up around here and I've never tried it. Is it worth giving it a shot?

My boyfriend likes all of the above. I actually don't think he has a favorite, other than Ohio City Burrito, which is not on your list.

Burrito buggy in Athens. End the thread!

Yeah, I'm sure there a ton of local places that I've never heard of that are great. I had to limit the choices to the big chains for brevity.

If you like Chipotle you will like Hot head. The Habenero extreme sauce is da bomb.

I'm voting Chipotle, but only because it's the only one of those mentioned that I've ever had.

They "can't" because they don't want to.

Also, my vote is chipotle. I've had qdoba and won't go back.

This, besides queso, they're literally the same. Since qboda has queso, they get my voat.

However all of these fail in comparison to this <insert restaurant in mexico> that I fly specifically to mexico to get. /MB

The Executive All Inclusive Exclusive Burrito Club in Thailand tops all of them, and they only serve those with a Learjet. Still, though, nothing holds a candle to the Burrito Shack on Mars. We go there a lot on the weekends.</insert>

    I vote Hot Head.

I vote the salad with no rice. Stay away from the white flour devil.

Chipotle, but never had Hot Head either.

Chipolte isnt bad. A hot heads is opening up like 20 ft from here in a few months.

Chipotle. Moe's is ok... I'm not a fan of their rice and meat was was a little bland. But do love the Salsa bar. Also I didn't get fucking greeted with the "Welcome to Moe's" when I walked in.

    I'd rank them:

    Chipotle
    Hot Head
    Lime Fresh Grill
    Qdoba
    Moe's

I'll throw another vote to Hot Head. Many more choices with sauce. You can also choose the spiciness of meat that you want.

It doesn't matter to me though, I'll eat at any and all of them. If they were all lined up side-by-side, I don't know which one I'd choose.

We just had a Lime open up around us.

I also forgot Currito, which is actually one of the best. It's a pretty small chain, though.

With the good words about Hot Head I will have to give them a shot.
  • Fly4Fun
I'll have to check out Hot Head if I ever see one, but this one is an easy answer. Chipotle.
  • Laley23
    I think Chipotle is nasty.

Qdoba and Moes for me, of those listed.
  • I Wear Pants
Hot Head is pretty good, there's a few of them around the Youngstown area (getting one essentially on campus now too). I like Chipotle as well, not as fervent a supporter as I used to be but it's still pretty solid. Never been huge on Qdoba.
  • GOONx19
Qdoba for queso chicken. Chipotle for steak.

    Lol, I know!

Ironically, we were having this convo a few days ago and everyone was in agreement. I just don't understand why they won't get queso. It's not enough for me to say no if that's where people are going. But if given the option, I'm going where there is queso!
