  False. They hate doing de-claws. Most are a very little to no profit margin surgery that takes up valuable time. They are almost always done at the same time as the spay/neuter and will eat up the small built in profit for the spay/neuter.

  Again, why would a vet, with a vested interest in profit at the expense of animals health, ever reveal financial data that would show them in a bad light? It sounds like your wife is a greedy POS.

  I hate cats. It probably started when I was about 5 and cats used my sand box. I loved that sand box.

  I've been having to walk a dog out in the cold recently that gets in no hurry to go back inside. It also doesn't shit just anywhere, it has to sniff and hunt for a place to go. I've always been more of a cat person. If ya get one though, make sure it's already fixed. Non-neutured males will spray all over your stuff and non-spayed females will be a ho and keep having kittens, which aren't easy to get rid of. The best litter is Scoop Away multi -cat. The best food is Kit & Kaboodle. My vote goes to the *****.

  I don't mind cats..just prefer not to have hair all over the house. My roommate has one..its trained but has occasionally shit, pissed, threw up on the floor or even furniture. Not about that life. I'm moving out soon, so I won't have to deal with any of that.

  I hoped to never really have an indoor pet, due to the reasons you cited. I hate it. But, our cat has been pretty good about all the above. My wife knew I'd never touch any excrement from the cat. So, I don't. He's peed a couple times not in his litterbox. He hasn't done anything else, thankfully. Both peeing situations were easy cleanups (for my wife) -- they've also came after we left him for a few days and it's like he did it out of spite when we walked in the door.
