LOL. All I said basically was "DMB sucks." Nothing more needed to be said.

Throw in Louis Vuitton as well.

Just sayin', likening DMB to Nickelback is just ignorance. It's like saying Eric Clapton and J-Lo are on par just because you aren't a fan of either. But honestly, is this SQ stuff going to die? It's just getting old, I don't know how many times I have to tell you I'm not him.

Because DMB sucks. Every time I see that mealy mouth bitch I want to punch a kitten and I love cats/dogs. I'm not really in the minority on this one either.

Never said you had to be a fan, but saying they're "on par" with Nickelback insinuates a certain comparison that is so far from the truth it's actually pretty funny.

It's all personal opinion. And sometimes people use a little hyperbole to drive the point. Why would you get offended over it?

Honor your father and your mother is my favorite. I think it's #4?

Depends on who you ask, I guess.

Saying Nickleback is overrated is overrated.

That's being less original than they are.

Oh, I wasn't saying Nickelback was overrated. They should have no rating, period. DMB is right there with them though, imo.

Who says I'm offended? Is discussion discouraged on this internet based discussion platform?

Likening Nickelback to DMB, regardless of whether or not you're a fan of either, is like saying that your son's little league team is like the Yankees. Being a fan is a matter of opinion, likening masters to pawns is a matter of ignorance.

And comparing DMB to "masters" is ignorance.

I apologize. I mistook the lengths you are taking to defend their honor as being offended. Carry on. But stop calling people idiots because they don't like your favorite band.

    Again, showing yours.

It isn't really a matter of opinion. You don't have to like their music, but it doesn't mean they aren't masters of it. For instance, I don't care much for Adam Levine, but I can't deny his musical prowess. The talent within DMB is off the charts, possibly no better collection of musical talent on any stage in the world. And they're as original as it gets. Nickelback on the other hand is like Kiss. Surrounded by brilliant marketing people and able to recreate essentially the same popular sound in many different ways. Not as much driven by musical talent as they are by their niche and good marketing.

Oh ok, well, just to clear that up, I called him an idiot because he's an idiot. I never said DMB was my favorite band.

It's completely a matter of opinion. Saying it isn't doesn't make it so.

That's completely false. Any musician will tell you that every member of DMB is as good as it gets musically, whether they're a fan of the sound they create or not. They wouldn't tell you the same about Nickelback.

You've already established a reputation for not being the brightest crayon in the box since you've joined this site.

Alright, I'm starting a thread about SQ, meet me over there.
