I enjoy it for what it is, above average protein served quickly at a decent price. It's not the greatest thing ever, but great for fast food.

Best encapsulation of Chipotle I've read. It tastes fine. I'll choose to eat there on occasion (I've done so maybe 6 times in my life). But it is as you've described.

I ate Chipotle approx. 3-4 days a week in college. Now I cant stand to eat there maybe more than once a month. Going to try Hothead's tomorrow, as I'm staying near one.

No kidding. overrated = R&R HOF.

Lost (the television series) -- Having now seen it all the way through, I can't fathom how people got so worked up over that damn show.

The first two seasons were great. Having binge-watched it, I could see how people had great hopes/expectations and were disappointed. I'd still have to put it in my top-5 tv dramas.

The earlier seasons were certainly better. Also, I'm a fan of Michael Emerson, so there's that. However, when the man in black started showing up, it felt like the show was jumping the shark ... which is somewhat sad, given how short its run was already.

I think after 2-3 years they backed themselves into a corner...which isn't unexpected when you create a universe with no rules. IMO, the Sopranos arc of quality was similar, albeit Sopranos wrapped much, much stronger.

Lost is a great show. Im guessing you weren't all that interested in the show to begin with considering it took this long for you to watch it.

They must be running out of acts. Even in 20 years these "politards", to quote Heretic, wouldn't get in if I had a vote.

Person of Interest is one my favorite current shows on.

That's fair. Seems like they just dropped the ball on how to navigate it. I know some shows have a shelf life that is inherently shorter than the average goal, but it just felt like their solution to what they set up defied the believability of the plot development they'd established to that point.

The acting was good, and as you said, the writing for the first couple seasons was pretty good. I just don't get the pedestal some seem to put it on.

I wasn't disinterested. I was certainly curious, as one would be going into a show that is touted so highly. I wanted to see what it was all about. Just felt let down. Perhaps without the pre-set expectations I might have different thoughts about it.

Same with me. I've really become enamored with the show, and I think they've done a great job developing and building all the antagonists in the show. There are so many, but they do a good job balancing them, with a few exceptions. The one villain that they really left open-ended without doing anything with was Wesley. The episode in which he shows up, he leaves very ominously with the foreshadowing of a return. Naturally, it's possible that he'll reappear, but we're almost three seasons later than his appearance, and really, there's been no mention of him.

Still probably my favorite show on right now, and probably on my top-5 list of shows.

POI has been one of my favorites, along with Blacklist. Only two dramas left on network TV, really, that consistently meet a high standard.

But I thought last night's episode was pretty poor. I dare say it felt like a "jump the shark" moment. Don't really care for the whole God/AI/Self-aware thing that has been done many times already. There's always been a good balance, but last night felt like they jumped over the line and are on their way to leaving it in the dust.

I've lost count of how many Lost alums have appeared on POI. I want to say there have been at least 6 (counting Michael Emerson).

Were a fan of The SHield and Sons of Anarchy? Is is sorta like that where almost every main character showed up in the newer show?

The Good Wife is my favorite show on TV right now, and critics love it.

    Never watched SOA.

Hawaii Five-O is another with a bunch of Lost alums - at least 1 main character and 2 recurring. I'm sure a few more have popped-up in guest appearances.

Haven't seen last night's episode yet. Planning on catching it tonight. I really hope they dial that part back a little bit. There's still so much potential with the villains still standing, and I'd hate to see those storylines cut short because they fiddle too much with the machine storyline.

You're going to be like "WTF....is that supposed to be Bobby Fischer?!?"

ehhhh, the critics seem to have really liked the episode

I agree with everything you said about PoI. Love the show, one of my favorites on TV, but last night's episode was not good at all.

I do like me some Sameen Shaw. Must be the type-2 personality disorder.

It seems like it's not necessarily requited. Root is creepy as hell, but it seems like she's the one doing all the pursuing, and Shaw seems mostly ambivalent to the propositions thus far, though I remember Shaw making reference to having a "good time ... or two, or three," so perhaps she's just a really angry freak.
