I used to care more about this debate when I still drank the stuff. My wife and I are about 2 weeks shy of not consuming soda for 5 months. /cool story -
IliketurtlesCoke. Just kidding although I do know people who call it that.
I say both Soda and Pop. -
mcburg93I say both but my mom being from the south always calls it coke. To this day when I ask her if she wants something to drink it goes like this. What do you want mom? Coke. What kind of coke? Pepsi.
It is fucking stupid. -
Fab4RunnerI use both, but I love saying soda just to get people fired up. Kinda sad that it actually does bother some people, but it's funny.
I try to only have one pop per week, and it's typically when I have pizza. -

Fly4FunI hate the question because I can never think of what I call it whenever this question is asked.
I rarely drink it anyways, and when I do ask for it I usually ask for the specific drink I want.
So basically I have no clue what I call it. -
Raw Dawgin' itEast coast...soda. It's not the fucking 50s

BRFIf you say pop on the east coast they look at you like you're nuts.
-
RotinajI say pop, I don't really care when people say soda. If you call everything Coke you need to GFY.
-
MulvaI usually just use the specific beverage name. Pop for most if I'm being generic, but orange is soda.
-
se-alumPop. We have family friends in Michigan that call it all coke. I was thoroughly confused about that when I was young.
-
GoChiefsI use both, just depends on where I'm at.
