All this talk of cod having huge maps means I'm gonna have to get it and check it out.

A few are way bigger and more complex than any I've ever seen in a CoD game.

I think the game modes you play dictate how many campers you see. I like BF for games like Rush and Conquest. After the first month though it becomes one team sniping and the other team using vehicles to get them out. The worst is in Rush where the whole other team sits in their spawns and just let's a tank take down the building the objective is in.
Ahhh yes. The mode probably is the difference. I primarily play Conquest, which has minimal sniping. I feel it's the best mix of strategies.

When I think of camping, I think of the guys in COD that would set claymore and literally sit in a corner waiting for someone to walk by.

Conquest definitely has the least camping of the modes in BF but it still has the problem of getting on a team with 12 snipers sitting on top of buildings in their spawn and not moving to the other 2 bases. I played the beta a lot and can say we won games in Conquest like 480-0 because all the other team did was snipe from the roofs on either of the two spawn points.

Interesting. I rarely come across snipers at all. Though, just anything in these games, people probably figured out how to defeat that and now there is less of it.

I actually really like Ghosts. It's actually less glitchy then the last couple of cods were in the beginning. The maps are what a lot of people are complaining about saying they are way to big.

Also so a big hint use the perk that increases you bullet damage after each kill.

    Double post.

I've played about 10 hours of it now and there are still maybe 4 maps that I've only played 2 or 3 times. I'd say it takes playing a map maybe 6 or 7 times to start to get a really good feel for all of the little ways you can move around and what ways people can get to you in any given building you might be in. Now that I've gotten used to them they don't seem as big, but a few are just humongous for the type of game it is.
