  Your post defending your self and adding a rather lengthy analogy about attorney/cli nt privileges is exactly why you come off as a pompous rectal discharge mechanism. I agree that muck of this is petty, why not you be the bigger man and just blow it off so to speak?

  Okay Justin and the rest of the OC, I have to admit I've never had an issue with F4F, but reading what I've read on this thread I can see why people do. And for him to piss of someone as easy going as Devils Advocate, well something isn't right. I never saw a Mod take himself so Serious, in such a smug way. I only wish us posters were just important as him.
  
  I saw what COA posted about being warned by other Mods to 'lay off' and 'be careful' made me think harder into this. Looks like F4F has gone Rogue and wants certain posters gone from this site. Now he just ran off DA? What's next?

  I'm honestly not sure why it should be required that I don't defend myself when I'm constantly being attacked by the same people over and over again? DA didn't even say he had a problem with my moderation. His previous posts just here said he has a problem with how I defend myself, how I write and my opinions. That has nothing to do with my moderation. I can't help it if the guy personally doesn't like me. And I can certainly say I've never intentionally been a dick to him or even unintentionally done so to the best of my knowledge. Hell, I didn't even respond in a hostile or defensive manner to his last two posts where he resorts to name calling.

  But I think it is abundantly clear that there is nothing I can say to appease the minds of those who have been calling for my head for a while now. And as I said earlier, I'm sad to see DA go, but I don't know how he can lay his choice to leave on me. I've never used my moderator abilities against him, and I definitely am not rogue as some would like to portray me. I'm sorry if some don't like the way I carry myself, but that's just who I am.
  
  Whatever is the outcome of this, I'm still going to stick around and post as I do enjoy this place. I only am a moderator as I want to help, I volunteered at the very beginning to help out and the rest is history. I definitely don't have some nefarious scheme to destroy this website.

  It is pretty simple. You can simply not abuse your mod powers and come off as a smug asshole about it. Not sure how you can't comprehend that. There are plenty of people on this site who don't like me, however if I was mod, I wouldn't be a bitch and campaign and strategize to find ways to abuse my powers against them.

  I call bullshit on this poll too. Like I said it was skewed when our names were originally placed in it, and also when was the last time we had 42 people vote in one day? The last time I can think of it was during the "GOAT" competition and that was because posters would go on PM campaigns to get people to vote. I can't remember the last time I have seen cat_lover (and his/her .78 posts per day) and that_guy post. Keep it up though justin/cry4fail. You will see the true impact of your stubbornness.

  No one has tampered with the poll. Forums often have people that read but don't post often. Hell, I think I read JJ for over a full year before I ever posted.

  If the poll was simply "should cry4fail be a mod" it would not be the same result. I can tell you right now, ETB who bitches about you all the time would not have voted for you in that poll.

  This site was once fun, when it first started. It was different, it was exactly what JJ wasn't and that was the appeal to everybody who came here. We wanted no holds barred, if you say something stupid you're going to get trashed for it, type action. We didn't want another policed state where we have to watch what we say.
  
  Nobody really gives a shit about HS sports, the main action is the general forum and the pro sports forum. All the PC BS is just that, BS, and people need to stop being so damn sensitive over the internet. We always make fun of people, whether in person, or on the internet... It's human nature. We will get into heated debates over topics such as sports, it is what it is... This site once had the allure that you never had to worry about being banned, but it lost that. Now you definitely have mods who have an agenda against a certain group.
