Saw a guy blow his head off yesterday

  • SnotBubbles
While eating lunch at a state park. He pulled in and thought the parking lot was a good place. It was pretty gross.

Anyone else have to witness something like that or at least the aftermath? It's completely surreal...

    What park?

Worse one I saw was an accident going from Flagstaff to Phoenix. Car did a head on into a cliff. I'm assuming the passenger wasn't wearing a seat belt because it was just a bloody mush of a head slumped over.

when i was in h.s. playing legion baseball some guy stuck a gun in his mouth and shot himself in the parking lot a few cars down from mine. when i went to my car after the game a dog was licking a piece of his skull that the emt guys must have left behind looked like a forehead. pretty gross.

I haven't actually seen anyone in the act, but a guy killed himself in a room at the the hotel I worked at. Our housekeeper went to his room two days in a row and kept getting no answer when she would knock on the door. I checked his account, and he had originally said he was only staying one night. I knew something was wrong, and even though I didn't want to do it, I had to use the master key to get into his room. Luckily, he had gone into the bathroom and the door was shut, but I could see his feet under the door. I GTFO of there and called the police. Turns out, he slit his own throat with a knife that looked similar to this:

After they had wheeled him out in a body bag, which I was unfortunate enough to see, a police officer came into the lobby and he was holding a plastic evidence bag with the bloody knife inside. So that was awesome.

I was pretty shaken up for a few days, and I felt especially bad for his family. I was there when his dad and uncle came to pick up his car. It was very sad.

IB4 "You should learn something from him, snot."

Sorry you had to see this. If there is anything positive from this... just be thankful it was just you, and your family didn't have to witness! Hope you're doing OK. I won't lose any sleep if you're not. But hope you're doing OK nonetheless.

When I was about 13-14 I was in the car with my dad when we came up to a small plane crash. We stopped to help but it was too late. The plane was by the side of the road burning and I couldn't quite figure out what I was seeing at first. The people were still strapped into their chairs and burning. I still have that image stuck in my head.

I've not witnessed anything happen when it did, but I've seen plenty of aftermath being on the fire department for 12 years.

Yea, it was obviously hard, especially since he was living with us at the time and was like a father to me. Pretty disturbing for an 8 year old.

My dad also found his dad, but he didn't shoot himself. Accidental suicide. Came home, pulled his truck in the garage, passed out drunk with the engine still running. Dad went out the following morning and found him.

I witnessed an accident on a highway. I had slowed down to turn left in the median and a car at the intersection beside me started to pull out and an oncoming truck had to swerve and lost control. I swear that truck did 3 barrel rolls and everyone of them looked in slow motion as I watched it. I ran to the truck and I will never forget that image! Both were DOA.

Agreed with this. Sucks you had to witness it, I couldn't imagine seeing something like that, but at least your wife/kids didn't see it.

Also so a guy in a convertible go under a semi trailer. I didn't go to the scene, there was already plenty of people there, so I didn't actually see anything. Did read later that he almost severed his head completely off.

Was on the elevator at Luxor in Vegas with a guy who told me he had been in town for 15 minutes and lost $6000. Said something about being worthless, yadda yadda. As I was walking around to my room shortly thereafter, something went zooming down the middle of the hotel and I heard a loud boom. Looked down and saw the pile of splat. I have always assumed it was that guy.

If it was, then you were very likely the last person on this earth he ever talked to. Do you remember what you said to him?

Never saw that first hand, but that has to suck.

I have seen deceased people when I was a Volunteer Fireman who died via accidents. I actully knew each one of the victims.

My mom dropped off her sister in Columbus to get a restraining order against her boyfriend.....my aunt got out of the car and the boyfriend came out from behind a car and killed her....mom saw it all happen to her baby sister.....mom drove away as he was shooting at her car. He later went to a parking lot on Cleveland Ave and took his own life. Fuck him and leaving my 9 year old cousin without her mom.

The middletown guy who drove down Briel avenue on fire to prove a point to his spouse was the only time I've seen something fucked up.

Speaking of suicide a kid I grew up with and played baseball with killed himself Monday. He jumped in front of a train. My dad talked to his dad a few weeks ago and asked how he was doing and his dad said he was having a hard time :(
