Anyway, when they find this guy I would turn the dogs loose on him. Literally. Would like to take him alive but sounds too risky.

If the dogs are a little over-eager and tear him to pieces...oh well

If this was TX the cops could go home and just wait for someone to shoot him.

    haha, probably.

Just said they're not able to verbally confirm it's him.

"2 males and 1 female" so aka probably not him.

Seriously, wait the 10-15 minutes for it to be confirmed. There have literally been dozens of false starts on that scanner today, why I quit listening to it.

    I refuse.

Are these rubber-neckers or just incredibly stupid people? Or do some people actually not know what is happening over there?

No real need to junk up the thread with a bunch of false reports. Anyone can listen to the scanner, be nice to have a thread with mostly confirmed facts.

I had to LMFAO this morning...everything closed, Dunkin' Donuts open (you know it!)

Not really false reports. Just reporting what's on the scanner. There are a lot of false starts, I agree.

I just heard a name, they get him?

Just kidding, they're talking about batteries again.

    They need batteries first.

Are all the cameras pretty much behind the perimeter? I assume we won't give this kid the honor of a "Butch and Sundance" finale on national tv?

    Forget the scanner

IMO, the more time that goes by without catching this guy looks bad for the Boston PD and whatever other agencies who were involved in last night's battle. They let this guy get away, and that gets magnified with every passing hour.

2 males and 1 female according to the scanner. Also a 3rd male on the 2nd floor, but elderly.

I don't know, haven't really seen the details of the stand-off last night. For all we know they had already split-up before the shootout, and at that point they didn't have a ton of manpower, mostly still en route.

I think they probably botched where they really thought he was and so he was always outside their perimeter. The news made a big deal out of how "it would take over an hour, running, to have gotten outside the perimeter". Well, actually, he had HOURS and you're assuming he was hunkered down instead of moving.

Just as a side note, are these people required to let the police in to search their house?

    no.

If there's a deemed threat to national security in a house, they can probably PATRIOT Act them.
