Which Upcoming Movie Are You Most Excited About?

I never even came close to getting the ending of Sixth Sense (Bruce Willis being dead).
I obviously believe you -- why would you lie -- but I'd be curious as to what tipped you off? Anything in particular? Unlike some of M. Night's other movies, notably Sixth Sense, there were key indicators throughout the movie that, if picked up by the viewer, would have set off some red flags and perhaps given away the plot. I didn't really notice any of those "warning signs" in The Village.

    Sixth Sense-Amazing
    Signs-Good
    The Villiage-Average and predictable
Lady in the Water-Average and weird
The Happening-Worst movie I have ever seen
Sadly, I don't think it's his worst. You must not have seen Devil. I've seen better acting on Nickelodeon. If not worse, it was right on par with The Happening.

And The Happening was a fucking train wreck.

I've seen Devil. It made The Happening look like The Godfather.

There is a reason why it wasn't in theaters. Everyone would want their money back. We saw it on PPV on a business trip so the only thing we lost was our time.

It evidenced that MNS is completely out of ideas.

    Hijacking another thread?

    LOL.

Why don't the mods just send you to where CCRunner just went to...or maybe you should stop being a douche and post something about the thread.

Do you have photos on someone? You've harassed me thread over thread with no reason. And you aren't funny or relevant.

    Response?

This is a thread about what movie we are excited about. What movie are you excited about? Is it LOL?

Here you go big guy, I say what movies I'm interested in. Sorry you dont find humor into feeding your own lol train.
  • Manhattan Buckeye
I find humor in speaking about the thread.

And I'd appreciate that the harassment ends. I don't care that you and your gaggle of friends have a different type of humor that I do. I do care that we be civil and talk about the subject at hand.

Normally I wouldn't care, but this is getting ridiculous. I can't post anything without you and the others (you know who they are) harassing me. It isn't cool, it isn't funny, it isn't what I log on to this site for. It is lame. If you want to take it to the Basement, do so. But I'm done with the chippy potshots.

Huh? Why are you getting upset. He just lol'd at what you had to say. SMH.

Anyway, back on topic. I really don't think World War Z is going to be that good. Just another zombie yawn fest, except this time the zombies are faster! OMG!

I really just can't seem to get excited for any of these upcoming movies. I will just wait for Hollywood to come up with something original this year. /sarcasm

    Case in point.

I only watched the movie once, when it was out in the theatres. So, it has been a long time and I don't remember exactly what it was.

Maybe it was a 'hunch' since Sixth Sense caught me off guard I figured there had to be a 'big' twist at the end.

To be honest I never saw Devil, after The Happening I now refuse to waste my time on a MNShamalamadingdong movie.

Has anyone seen the previews for the purge. It looks pretty damn good.

Is I Am Legend: The Beginning or II a real thing? I heard a lot about this awhile ago, but the talk seems to have gone quiet. That would be epic. Will Smith and Leonardo DiCaprio are the greatest actors of our generation, so I am glad each has a new film set to release this year. Hopefully Gatsby is as good as I think it can be.

Laley really seems to be down on it -- I'd be interested to know why -- but I hope he's wrong.

Note: I do not count DDL or Denzel or DeNiro or Pacino as part our "our generation."

Count me in as another that won't pay to watch another m night movie....the village, the happening and devil are three of my least favorite movies ever.

I wil for sure see Gatsby opening weekend, but I really liked the book. I know it is about a glamour, rich group of people. But it seems from the previews to be a bit overdone. It just looks so flashy etc on the previews. Who knows.

I figured that's what you were thinking, because I have kind of thought the same. The music and everything seems really over the top and pretentious. Hopefully it will turn out great, though.

Also, I am probably in the minority, but for some reason I think "the purge" has lots of promise

Pretentious is a perfect way to describe what I see in the previews. Just too much glitz and glam.

Samesies. I thought the trailer we saw before Evil Dead was good.

Here is the newest trailer for Man of Steel. I think it's going to be really good.
