Thanks for equating a fad from the 80s as "old school". Now please wheel me back to my room.BR1986FB;1363758 wrote:Neither are Z-Cavaricci's (old school reference for the older crowd) -

They ended up being banned at ours as well. I think they said there were safety issues with them, but I don't really recall.Fly4Fun;1363743 wrote:I forgot about snap bracelets. I think those things were eventually banned at my grade school.
Did anyone do the Kriss Kross and wear their pants backwards? I didn't do that, but I remember a few people who did. Or what about MC Hammer's skidz? Those were pretty awesome, too. -

I rocked the "undercut" bowl cut. Shaved on sides, long on top. :laugh:justincredible;1363727 wrote:Dynamite drop-in. He added to the discussion.
Bowl cuts. Airwalks. Those are the biggest that I can remember.
Also had the high fade with lightening bolts on the side. Shit was cashhh!
Had a brief JNCO jeans stage in junior high, glad I ditched that. -

We called that the "skater cut." And yes, I had one of those, too. My mom was of the opinion that hair always grows back, so do whatever you want. This resulted in my having way too many terrible haircuts.Automatik;1363805 wrote:I rocked the "undercut" bowl cut. Shaved on sides, long on top. -
McFly1955Cutting slits on the bottom of jeans in junior high/early high school...I don't think people do this much today in school, but I guess I'm not sure.
Like a 3-4" long slit at the bottom on the inner part of the bottom of the leg, and just a 1-2" cut on the outside part. -

With the tight jeans I'm seeing these days, I'm pretty sure I'd NEED them cut like that just to fit my feet through them.McFly1955;1363848 wrote:Cutting slits on the bottom of jeans in junior high/early high school...I don't think people do this much today in school, but I guess I'm not sure.
