    Fads and you</SPAN>

What “fads” are willing to own up to wearing?</SPAN>

When from wearing pleated pants, ban-lon shirts, wing tip shoes (intercity street threads) to tye-die, bell bottom jeans, Jesus sandals, long hair, clog shoes (drug days) to leather jackets, boots, jeans and biker gear (lost days and confusion)… now it just croc </SPAN></SPAN>:)

I'm guessing Belly had an original mood ring and maybe even a pet rock back in the day.

Belly probably invented the pet rock.

Used to rock the Kangol hats backwards:

Owned a couple Ed Hardy shirts in recent years. One even had rhinestones.

Also, in middle school, I wore the big Jnco jeans.

Dynamite drop-in. He added to the discussion.

Bowl cuts. Airwalks. Those are the biggest that I can remember.

Platform shoes in the late 60s/early 70s.

I had lots of bad fad haircuts--mullet, rat tail, bowl cut.

    Other fads I participated in:
    Stonewashed jeans
    Snap bracelets
    Starter jackets

I actually saw a kid the other day with a rat tail... I was amused.

I forgot about snap bracelets. I think those things were eventually banned at my grade school.

    LOL!

I'd add a picture of me from high school with my bowl-cut, but I've learned that that is e-sucide around these parts. I had a bowl cut, then shaved up to the bowl.

I also had high sideburns in elementary, and stair steps as well.

The worst hair cut that I rocked as a child was "slicked" back hair euro trash style. But I blame that on the fact that I lived in Germany that year.
