What about skin cells? Isn't there well over 9 pounds of skin on a body?gorocks99;1337917 wrote:The average human body has between two and nine pounds of bacteria - and there are more bacterial cells in your body that actual "you" cells.
Also, the fact that people accept that there is a "creator" blows my mind. -

Your looking at the solar system as if it is on a piece of paper. The trip to mars I'm sure involves them going both horizontal and vertical directions. -

My guess is skin cells are way bigger than bacteria. There are more bacteria cells (by count) than other cells. All I'm doing is parroting facts I've read elsewhere because I'm a plagiarist.dlazz;1338239 wrote:What about skin cells? Isn't there well over 9 pounds of skin on a body?

Yeah, I think that particular factoid is wrong.gorocks99;1338249 wrote:My guess is skin cells are way bigger than bacteria. There are more bacteria cells (by count) than other cells. All I'm doing is parroting facts I've read elsewhere because I'm a plagiarist.
But I like that picture you chose as your avatar, so I'll let it slide. -

gutWhat if dreams are actually experiences we had in a previous or future life, or in a parallel universe (sort of a ESP thing)? Think about it - have you ever had a perspective of yourself in a dream that's more like a camera angle than 1st person, perhaps close but not quite?

Mohican00Less than a trillionth of a second after the Big Bang, all matter and anti matter collided and cancelled out each other. Only once per billion times did matter not get cancelled out by anti matter. All matter in the universe remaining today occurs out of that 1-1 billion chance.

gutAnti-matter would be the perfect tool for assassination....no body, no weapon

I never thought of it that wayDespite their vast numbers, bacteria don't take up that much space because bacteria are far smaller than human cells. -

JugheadComplex three dimensional models always seem to mess with my mind.
I like to watch shows about astronomy. Recently, combinations of 2D and 3D models were used to describe the effect that the gravity of the sun has on planets' orbits. It baffled me to see the sun sitting in the middle of a 3D cone of depression while the planets were placed in 2D space, like in the photo below.
The planets are not all in a flat plane like this photo shows, but how would you go about creating a model of it? -
