    Why did you change it?

Probably a little under 27 hours, if it's all downhill.

to make more sense and thought the first one seemed more like an asshole comment, where the second was more joking. Which is what I intended.

    You'd be allowed to roll.

Well in that case, about a minute and a half.

If I was trying to run as fast as I can probably about 6:15 right now, I'm not in the best form at the moment.

It was never my thing at all. I jog 2-2.5 miles 4x a week but slow and steady. I could barely crack 8 minutes....probably a 7:55.
Would that be with weapon or without

I dunno.. I run 3 in 30 minutes after lifting, so 10 minutes since that's all I try I guess. Probably could go faster though I'm not sure why I'd want to.

Your training? I thought you were running with and coaching the people doing the actual training.
What's the single most important race you train for every year?

Is the 609 family running Turkey Trot again this year?

No clue what I can run now for only 1 mile but do know my fastest mile ever (many years ago) ranks towards the top.

Sub-5 for sure. I haven't timed one in quite a while, though.

    Funny how that works, huh?
I guess dlazz was the one student who liked being hit on by his coach...

Probably about 8 min unless someone or something is chasing me and then about 7:58.

6:35, just did it in a 5K race last weekend..and that's fast enough for me

You got me beat by about 3 hours.

I enjoy running. Havent really ran just one mile for time so I dont have much of reference point. At basic training two years ago they do a 1-1-1 assessement...1 mile run, and I did it in 6:42. I think if I had to it tomorrow...in good conditions where it is calm, flat, and not humid I think I would be right around the 7 min mark.

Fastest I ran was a 6:31 in football, and then I immediately threw up all the pancakes I ate for breakfast (I was a freshmen and learned the hard way to not eat pancakes before 2-a-days). Now, I probably wouldn't even finish the mile.

And LOL at ccrunner, a cross country runner, for calling people pussies because they don't run fast miles.

Why would anyone want to run a mile?
