Steel Valley FootballWhat's also funny is I've noticed none of the posters get all up in arms like they did here when posters (whom I assume are also adults) post the Herp Derp memes w retarded kids on them.

Another valid point... but the situations are a bit different.Steel Valley Football;1287182 wrote:What's also funny is I've noticed none of the posters get all up in arms like they did here when posters (whom I assume are also adults) post the Herp Derp memes w retarded kids on them.
One could try to argue that someone is just posting a joke and it's not directed at anyone as opposed to this situation which was clearly directed at the girl.
For example a lot of people on here have no problem calling people "****" or "gay" in a joking manner. But they probably wouldn't do that directly to a person's, who is actually gay, face.
I agree that both situations are reprehensible. But also some of it is just part of the culture we live in. -

Also, interesting is how not one single poster in five pages mentioned the handicapped girl - who is at the center of all this and the one who's most affected.
No, "poor girl", "how terrible she must feel", etc. No mention of how she' coping; almost no concern. Everyone's ready to hang this guy from a tree, though. Or, at least break his knee caps with a bat. I just found that interesting.
Note to Heretic: it's just an observation of behavior. I'm not "rustled", but thanks for your concern. -

Well, my first post mentioned how this kind of thing breaks my heart. Pretty obvious that means I feel really bad for the little girl. I mentioned nothing about kicking the guys ass.Steel Valley Football;1287234 wrote:Also, interesting is how not one single poster in five pages mentioned the handicapped girl - who is at the center of all this and the one who's most affected.

With the asshole's (guy mocking her) actions, I think it's assumed that everyone is empathetic to the girls feelings. A "aww, poor girl" isn't necessary. Anyone feeling the opposite like "haha...girl deserved it" is a cold hearted POS.Steel Valley Football;1287234 wrote:Also, interesting is how not one single poster in five pages mentioned the handicapped girl - who is at the center of all this and the one who's most affected. -

Reps to you, then. You, sir, will be a fine parent and not an ass-kicker of people who pretend to be crippled...and, for that, we thank you.justincredible;1287242 wrote:Well, my first post mentioned how this kind of thing breaks my heart. Lol it's obvious to everyone but SVF apparently. I don't know if possibly you're talking about the really old story from JJHuddle. I believe the poster was 3ball and the girl wasn't handicapped just she had 1 arm but she did work at Wendy's and he made a thread jokingly about wanting to ask her out but didn't know how to do it.O-Trap;1286897 wrote:Wasn't there some running joke at one time on here about a mentally handicapped girl who worked at Wendy's? The mentally handicapped girl was probably from mattinctown's slumpbuster.Iliketurtles;1287296 wrote:I don't know if possibly you're talking about the really old story from JJHuddle. No...there was a poster here...mattinctown or something...banging a disabled chick from Lowes then got mad and quit posting when he was ridiculed. -

She tried. Take my word: when going on dates, it's not a good icebreaker to tell the story about the coat-hanger scars above my temples.Steel Valley Football;1287263 wrote:/yourmomshouldhaveabortedFAIL -

Maybe I'm getting my stories crossed, but I do distinctly recall someone thinking a developmentally disabled girl was hot and mentioning it. I think it was a "Matt," so you're probably right.FatHobbit;1287298 wrote:The mentally handicapped girl was probably mattinctown. -

It was someone else, not 3Ball. He was just a freak in general. I do remember him wanting to get a fast food employee somewhere fired once because his girlfriend at the time was going through a drive-thru and the kid there made a flirty comment towards her.Iliketurtles;1287296 wrote:I don't know if possibly you're talking about the really old story from JJHuddle. Haha since he mentioned Wendy's I figured he was just talking about the JJHuddle story. I figured the mattinctown fail thread would be easily remembered but I guess that is who he was talking about.GoChiefs;1287301 wrote:No...there was a poster here...mattinctown or something...banging a disabled chick from Lowes then got mad and quit posting when he was ridiculed.
Haha yeah 3ball was a very interesting dude. I always thought it was him but your right it probably wasn't. Maybe some older huddle can remember haha.Heretic;1287308 wrote:It was someone else, not 3Ball. He was just a freak in general.
