Worst speeding ticket you've ever gotten?

  • adog
Not real expensive ticket but very wierd story......few years back I was sent to the Netherlands by my employer for 2 weeks. Got rental cr in Amsterdam (that city is another story in itself) and traveled to my destination city. While working at my employers office there those 2 weeks, I explored the area when out of office. Since I was only something like 90 miles from Cologne Germany, zipped over there on evening, drove the autoban..sweet!!!!..Was doing 120-125 mph in Germany, but as I crosed back into the Netherlands the limit dropped down to somewhere around 50.......slowly slowed down and thought nothing about it....6 months after I was back in the states, my wife brought an envelope from the mail asking "what the hell is this?' All the writing was in dutch.....yep a freaking ticket from a damn camera. Was not gonna pay it but found out soon after my employer was going to send me back over later that year again.......if I did not pay, I would not be able to get a rental car there.......end result....roughly $200 US dollars...sucked...

I've been pulled over for speeding nine times and only gotten one ticket. My worst over was 78 in a 55, but that one was just a warning. My one ticket was 51 in a 35 and it was only $119.

Found out that the 434.03 was indeed some code assigned to the traffic violation, and not the cost of the ticket.

My jimmies are no longer rustled.

I once missed my turnpike exit traveling to a friend's cottage at some dumpy lake in Michigan, so I got off at the next exit and opted to fly back via the country roads. I was cruising. Well I went around a bend on one road and a cop goes past me the other way. As expected, he turned around and pulled me over. He said that he had me at 66 in a 55 and gave me a ticket.

To this day I know for a fact that they can just make up the speed and issue you a ticket. I was going at least 85. There is no way in hell I was going 66, but what am I going to say about it ya know? haha

Someone brought up a school bus...

I got pulled over by two FBI agents who happened to see me race dangerously fast and reckless around a stopped school bus with its sign out back when I was in HS. They showed me their IDs and yelled at me pretty good about how bad I was driving then let me go. I was freaked out cuz I had a small amount of weed in the car then was just like wtf just happened. I have no idea why they were where they were at the time.

You should have been punished to the fullest extent of the law

Not bad the way others have posted, but one ticket made me consider homicide. In Friendswood, TX, I was pulled over and ticketed for 32 in a 30. I contested was found guilty and fined a total of 155.

As well you should have been for blatant disregard for Texas speeding laws.
