Yeah, the writers have talked about this often, apparently the writing for season 2 was so meticulous the writers knew they wouldn't be able to keep it up and have the show ready for its air dates. Still, pretty cool.hoops23;1222030 wrote:I never noticed this about the titles in Season 2 either...
"Seven Thirty-Seven"
"Grilled"
"Bit by a Dead Bee"
"Down"
"Breakage"
"Peekaboo"
"Negro y Azul"
"Better Call Saul"
"4 Days Out"
"Over"
"Mandala"
"Phoenix"
"ABQ"
737 Down Over Albuquerque... Pretty awesome foreshadowing. -

hoops23So close to season 5. Can't wait. Only getting 4 hours of sleep tonight because I'm staying up to watch it. 4 am kinda sucks, but getting off so early is awesome.

End of LinePhenomenal episode. Picked up where season 4 ended, and loved the foreshadowing in the beginning.

End of LineFor those wondering:
[sp]The writing on the picture of Gus and his friend that was killed, it's the Cayman Island bank account info[/sp] -

That was nice of AMC.
Also, "Magnets, bitch!" -
dwccrewThis show is the best show on television along with The Walking Dead. AMC for the win!

Agreed. S3 of the Walking Dead, judging by the direction they're going, will be VERY good.dwccrew;1226350 wrote:This show is the best show on television along with The Walking Dead. AMC for the win!
I think Breaking Bad is probably my favorite series ever though... Rivals The Wire for me. -

hoops23So any thoughts on the beginning of the episode? Walt has hair and is using a different name then proceeds to meet the gun salesman at Denny's.
This series has great foreshadowing scenes and this was another. -

My first thought was how weird he looked with hair.hoops23;1229367 wrote:So any thoughts on the beginning of the episode? Walt has hair and is using a different name then proceeds to meet the gun salesman at Denny's.

I am definitely excited to see where the season goes. -

It's a different ID from a different state and he has hair. It's also worth noting that he made the "52" out of the bacon like Skylar did for his 50th birthday. So it seems to me that he may be completely cut off from his family now. Perhaps Skylar actually left him or Mike/Jesse turned on him or something like that. Very interested to see where this goes.hoops23;1229367 wrote:So any thoughts on the beginning of the episode? Whatever it is, it seems like he was ready for war. -
fictioni'm not sure if it's really walt's 52nd birthday in the cold open. that would be a big leap forward in time; walt turns 51 this season. he had to show an id to the waitress at denny's to receive the free breakfast. his id had an assumed name and address, i'm skeptical that his real birthday would be on there.
