bigdaddy2003Cloud Atlas didn't do very well this weekend.

So Solitaire is the winner with 4X? (unless maybe someone had multiple appearances and we add them together, even as different characters). Jane Seymour certainly does rank up there as the best. I think this settles it.Scarlet_Buckeye;1306179 wrote:Perhaps the coolest [movie] infographic ever.... -
hasbeenCloud Atlas had my attention for the entire 2 hours and 52 minutes. I went in knowing very little about it(especially the length, fuck me) and came out entertained. It was unique, certainly. I must not be smart enough to follow all the time jumps because I feel I missed some connecting details.

Those were some pretty cool pix. Thanks for sharing! I think my favorites were the Leon one, Planet of the Apes one, Star Wars one, Titanic, and LoTR.

I was thinking about catching it tonight. How have the reviews been?bigdaddy2003;1310710 wrote:Anyone going to go see Flight this weekend? -
bigdaddy200392 fresh and 28 rotten on Rotten Tomatoes right now. I didn't actually read of the reviews though.

hasbeenSaw Fun Size movie. It could have been a good comedy if it left certain 'Teen plot lines' out. But I'm sure that was more towards the intended audience.

Benny The JetSay what you will, but I'm pretty pumped to go see Wreck it Ralph tonight.

Trueblue23Saw "Flight" tonight, wasn't too bad. Wasn't exactly what I expected, but it was good, not amazing. There were a lot of holes in the plot.

I thought it looked terrible from the trailers....but the reviews have been pretty good.Benny The Jet;1310756 wrote:Say what you will, but I'm pretty pumped to go see Wreck it Ralph tonight. -
bigdaddy2003I liked Flight overall. The opening scene was nice especially for anyone who used to watch My Name is Earl.

Yes it was! There's nothing wrong with a landing strip lolbigdaddy2003;1311044 wrote:I liked Flight overall. The opening scene was nice especially for anyone who used to watch My Name is Earl. -
brutus161After seeing The Man with the Iron Fists, I have come to the conclusion that Rza should make every karate movie from here on out.

Saw "Flight" last night too. I'd agree with everything you said... It was good, but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. It was a little different than I was expecting. I think the whole 'airliner doing a barrel roll and flying inverted' really grabs everyone's attention and they think they're going to see more stuff like that but they don't.Trueblue23;1310946 wrote:Saw "Flight" tonight, wasn't too bad. Denzel was great, as usual. John Goodman stole the show (guy can just act). The girl was pretty cute (in a weird way). Didn't like how once she left, she was really never to be seen again.
Oh! And who was the cancer patient? His acting was REALLY good.
I'd rate it about a 70%. Don Cheadle was pretty good too. -

I was kinda amped for Wreck It Ralph and I was disappointed when I saw it last night. Not nearly enough video game references as I thought there were going to be. Also, the whole 'Candy Land' racing thing was too girly / annoying for me.Benny The Jet;1310756 wrote:Say what you will, but I'm pretty pumped to go see Wreck it Ralph tonight.
It did have a couple good plot twists that I didn't see coming.
I'd give it about a 60% -

The cancer dude reminded me so much of Ledger's Joker, which kind of threw me off. His mannerisms, way he moved his mouth and face, kinda cool.Scarlet_Buckeye;1311205 wrote:Saw "Flight" last night too. I'd agree with everything you said... I agree. Had some funny parts, but I wanted more game references. The Contra code reference was pretty good, had to explain it to my wife.Scarlet_Buckeye;1311207 wrote:I was kinda amped for Wreck It Ralph and I was disappointed when I saw it last night. Street Fighter's Ken
Street Fighter's Ryu
Pacman
Halo

Mortal Kombat's Kano
Mortal Kombat's Smoke

Manhattan BuckeyeSaw Skyfall yesterday - since that is one of the bigger films coming out I'll post a non-spoiler review on a separate thread later.

I was hoping Goodman would have a bigger role. The girl looked familiar but after looking up who she was I've never watched anything she has been in. [SP]I thought that was who was visiting Denzel at the end. I didn't really care for how they showed that they had made up through the pics in his jail cell but it's not a huge deal.[SP] The cancer patient is James Badge Dale. He's been in a few things so far but nothing where he has been the lead. I had to look it up. HaScarlet_Buckeye;1311205 wrote:Saw "Flight" last night too. I'd agree with everything you said...
