Usama Bin Laden is Dead

  • bigkahuna
Buried at sea because he died, first in 2002 of kidney failure, then again in December of 2002 of lung complications, then again in 2004 it was reported he was captured. Now he has been killed by US Special Forces... something smells fishy, and I'm not talking about his remains.
A post from a "friend" on facebook. Some people are so stupid. Another one said that this is just a distraction from gas prices. SMH.

I wouldn't go so far as to question the validity of the news, but I would like to see a picture of the corpse.

Oh absolutely, but he followed up with
WTF, bury him at sea? You are going to respect Islamic traditions, what's the difference in burial? I call bull shit, those photos are doctored.

I think you will see pictures come out soon. They know people will question this without irrefutable proof.

    Prayers on his safe return.

Just talked to my brother not sure what all I'm allowed to repeat but I would say the news is legit. They escorted two USMC Ospreys into Pakistan(the Ospreys flew under each wing of the C-130 to appear as one plane) and then they escorted them to a ship. Shortly before take off the news that Bin Laden had been killed popped up on the news. The matter of the mission was and still is Top Secret as far as what they were doing and why they were taking the Ospreys into Pakistan and then back but now it seems clear.

When is he coming home? This was going to be one good party anyways. Now your lil bro is more of a hero than any of us ever knew he was going to be.

I don't think he sees it that way, he wasn't part of the take down...just a mobile gas station to make sure they got in and out in one fluid motion.

I understand he isnt a SEAL and part of the takedown. He was, however, part of the entire operation required to smoothly complete an historic mission for the United States. The guys involved in these missions never ask for, or want, any credit. But they all deserve such.

Agreed. He'll be back in August unless I just got him in trouble haha for posting then I guess it'll be sooner.

"well I didn't end him...just dropped him in the ocean"
"it is crazy tho. never thought in a million years we would find him. let alone get a chance to rid of him"

No, I will play the idiot card here. I am 100% clueless.
  • bigkahuna
No it really didn't happen, but it would have been sweet x 1,000,000 if that's what he would have done.

I know this was pages ago, but LOL at all you know it alls who aren't in college saying students are looking for an excuse to party and don't really care.We dont need excuses to party lol I still remember that day like it was yesterday. We were even sent home from school early. I've had to hear about this all while I was growing up. The majority of the people celebrating outside of the White House last night were student from George Washington U. I stopped studying for my final to watch the news on it for 2 hours, I seen it all over facebook and on twitter by my peers before I did by older people.

Get off of your high horse.

I was thinking that this is a definitive time in your generation especially. I'm 25, and of course it's a big deal to me as well.

However, most of my lifetime's public enemy #1 was Saddam Hussein. My parents, perhaps Castro?

College students today have mostly lived in a world where people fear radical Islam. These kids have lived in a world with all of the TSA checks and the double take whenever you see someone of Middle Eastern decent.

I'm not saying that it's more significant to them, but their lives have been wrapped around this entire thing more than people who are a little older.
