This was discussed not too long ago, not sure if anyone tried it yet.Flash;1571263 wrote:http://seriouslyforreal.com/more/turn-your-beer-bottles-into-glass-cups-5-easy-steps/ Going to try this for fun. Not sure it will work. -
vdubb96Just remembered. my sister in law got a set of Grey Goose glasses last weekend that someone had done this to. They were pretty nice glasses.

gerb131Had that cold snap from Sam Adams. 2 at a time is plenty.

Curly JHaving another Hopslam(s) tonight. That takes US down to a sixer left...and it's getting harder to find.
Interesting note on Hopslam. There are 2 different bottling dates. 12/27/13 and 1/11/14. And I noticed the Dec has a sweeter finish than the Jan with has more hops in the finish. -
SonofanumpDisapointed in these 21st Amendment He Saids. The porter is better than the tripel, neither are impressive.
-
O-TrapBought a 4-banger of Old Raspy tonight. Will drink them all. Will enjoy.
Because eff the InBev. -
Commander of Awesome
Yeah both were bad IMO. Less than impressed with most of 21st Amendment brews after I learn they contract brew in Minnesota. When I was in Ohio I could find 9 day old IPA from them, but never see less than 2 month old 6ers sitting on the shelves around here, WHERE THEY CLAIM TO BE FROM.Sonofanump;1571448 wrote:Disapointed in these 21st Amendment He Saids. sherm03Got a 4 pack of Listermann Nutcase Porter and a 4 pack of Listermann Cincinnatus (two 2012 brews and two 2013 brews) today.
I really like their stuff. -
EmilyPowellnever heard about this. but looking forward to know more!

Gblocki went to beerfest last friday at the convention center and got the free upgrade ticket for the 8 oz glass. basically as much beer as you can drink from 630-1045. Mostly all ohio and midwest beers over 300 to choose from. I probably tried about 75 of them. awesome time i will do again

Commander of AwesomeReally enjoyed the Red Chair last time I had it.
-
sportchamppsGblock I did beer fest as well. Did you try the KCCO beer that Red Hook secretly had bottles of. It was different the. Most black lagers I've ever had with a real coffee taste to it. I still enjoyed Jackie Os and three Floyd's the best.

gorocks99Enjoying my homebrew today, bottled about 3 weeks ago. Saison yeast, warrior, nelson sauvin and motueka hops. Very enjoyable.
-
iclfan2Got a growler of Columbus Brewery Bodhi DIPA. Pretty cheap (8.99) and had awesome reviews on beer advocate.

My Giant Eagle had a fuckload of Black Butte, Red Chair, Mirror Pond, and Inversion. Don't know about anywhere else. Of course that Giant Eagle still has shitloads of the $2.99 New Belgium bombers, they get all the new things but there's not a lot of people buying them so I get to enjoy them forever. Still can get all the Christmas ales I want.Sonofanump;1571821 wrote:I forgot about Deschuttes release today, is it hard to find? -

Picked up the last one at the store. They also have it on tap, so I have a growler full. -
BORIStheCrusherPicked up sixers of Hopslam and Black Butte yesterday, really excited Deschutes has come to Ohio. I will say that as much as I like that craft beer is becoming popular, it kind of sucks too. A few years ago I could walk out of most beer stores around here with a case of Hopslam no problem, but yesterday the store I buy it from has a 1 six pack limit and was selling it from behind the counter.

gerb1316 of dales tonight

I tend to concur. I was just talking to a friend about the same thing. I remember a few years ago no one would pay $18.00 for a sixer of 'The Slam'. A few years back The Wife was shopping with her friend and he dared her to buy a case of Hopslam. There was a crowd around it and everyone was talking about the price of it. She walked forward, grabbed a case, then the crowd applauded. I should note Hopslam is one of her favorite beers so no dare was needed.BORIStheCrusher;1572044 wrote:Picked up sixers of Hopslam and Black Butte yesterday, really excited Deschutes has come to Ohio. On the other hand I have met some great people both online and at different events due to craft beer. It's nice that it is more of a movement. There is so much fellowship, cooperation, and collaboration in the craft beer breweries that I've never seen in any industry. That is a great thing and promotes happiness and good beer. -
Curly JLove having a pint while shopping. Having a Black Butte at the Jungle. A growler of it will be going home with me. Such a smooth mouthfeel and a bright finish for a porter.
