    Liar !!!!!

Really though I'd go with Belguim beers. Maybe a Saison/Farmhouse Ale since there is so many types of food. Or a Lambic. Some people that 'don't like beer' would be suprised by a fruited lambic and that is in fact beer, even though I prefer the natural or sour style, Gueuze. If all else fails maybe a Begian Blonde, Double, or Triple.

I might be having some Founders Breakfast Stout...after one or two of the above mentioned.

Edmund Fitzgerald is a pretty damn solid porter.

I tend to agree. Never was a fan of the Commodore Perry. I did have their Blackout Stout at a Great Lakes tasting a month or so ago and it was solid.

Savoring the moment I get to crack open my last KBS saturday, it can't come soon enough!!! As for Thanksgiving, probably be crushing some Inbev products as usual!

Blackout stout is top 5 for me as far as stouts. In any order its probably:

    Speedway
    Blackout
    Ten Fidy
    Expedition
    Stone IRS?

    Regular or BA version Mooney?

I never HATED Commodore Perry, but it is completely unimpressive as an IPA.

The BA Blackout Stout is the bitch's tits, though. I've had it only once, but it was awesome.

I've still never had the Speedway. Haven't seen it.

However, this is a pretty solid list.
  • vdubb96
    Founders KBS
    Founders BS
    Speedway
    Iechy Da Breakfast Cookies Stout
Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout (one of my first ever stouts, sentimental value)
  • Commander of Awesome
    Parabola
    Speedway
    KBS
    Expedition
Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout/BA B.O.R.I.S.
  • gorocks99
Are we including Russian imperial stouts in the list? If so...

    Three Floyds Dark Lord
    Surly Darkness
    GI Bourbon County
    Bells Kalamazoo Stout

And, although it's a porter, Deschutes Black Butte

Where the hell are you guys finding Dark Lord?
  • vdubb96
Dark Lord is one 3f's I've never been able to get. Hook it up!!!

Friend brought back a few from Dark Lord Day and I was luck enough to score one.

I suppose it is one of the hardest beers to get, but easier than Pliny Younger/Westy12/Founder's CBS?

Pliny the Younger they don't bottle, so you have to get it on tap in Feb in the Bay Area, Philly, or Denver. I've had it, nothing special over other Triple IPAs IMO. CBS I think they only brewed once, so we'll probably never be able to get it.

I actually prefer regular Blackout. Though I still have a few BA Blackouts available for trade

And I can't believe this many people actually like KBS. That's one of the most overrated beers I've ever tasted. Same with Breakfast Stout. Founders Imperial Stout is wayyyy better than KBS or BS.

O-Trap, where are you at that you can't find Speedway? I can try and get some to you.

I politely disagree about the KBS or BS. Imperial Stout is great as well though.

Ten Fidy and Heady topper for me.

Anyone out of Ohio able to get some really sweet seasonal brews that I can't buy in this wretched, wretched state? And would they be willing to ship some to me if I pay for everything (I'll throw in some money on top of the whole thing to make it worth the while).

    Blasphemy! ;)

I assume it's sold around here (Akron, OH). Just for the life of me, I've never seen it.
