Pretty certain I have one of those in our fridge for our next tasting.

And my Giant Eagle and actually a few other grocery stores too.

I think Bigdaddy must live in a place with really shitty grocery stores.

Pretty much. I finally found one with a bunch of new selections for me though. So I have been working my way through them.

Had some two weeks ago. Eh.....it's alright. Not as good as I expected it to be. I mean, it's tastes like banana bread (which I love) but just wasn't that great. Not bad though.

Ditto. The Wife picked some up to try and that was pretty much how I felt about it.

Went to the party source tonight looking for win for my mother in law. Decided I'd pick up some pumpking for myself but they didn't have any. Ended up with a 6pack of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter.

Leinenkugels Oktoberfest and ShockTop Reaspberry Wheat while doing some late night paperwork. Enjoyable and relaxing.

Today I picked up a 22 oz. of Hoppin' Frog Double Pumpkin Ale for this weekend. I've read good things about it. Any of you guys had it before?

Of course, they didn't get any of the DFH Punkin' Ale in that they were supposed to get. They're still waiting on 5 cases. And they didn't get the ST Pumking in yet either. I'm still waiting on the GLB Nosferatu too. Never had that and DEFINITELY looking forward to trying it. "Cool story, bro" moment.....I'm a big fan of the 1922 silent classic Nosferatu so I think the name and label are cool as shit too.

Not the Pumpin, but a few other Hoppin Frogs. Liked every one of them, even the stout.

While you a looking for some WIN, and hoping you found it, maybe I'll look for you some Punking and make sure it gets your way.

For me and The Wife tonight it was Pumpking, then a Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin. Now onto a Stone Russian Imperial Stout !!! The Stout is ALL Mine !!!

EDIT: Correction...Just found a Trappistes Rochefort 10 that The Wife bought for a surprise for me. The Stone Imperial will have to wait for another day. (Damn I love that Woman)

There is a beer festival on Fountain Square this weekend but it seems a little pricey to me. They are charging $2 for a 3oz sample for the good beer.

To me it's not so much the price, but at some of these events you have people pouring the beer that have never had the beer. They can't tell you anything about it since they've never had it or some that don't even drink beer for that matter.

Has anyone had Sam Adams Utopias? A buddy of mine that lives in Columbia, Md said they had it at his local pub the other night. They were offering either 3 or 4 oz samples for around $30. A bottle was $300 I think. He said he just smelled it, and joked w/ the bartender that it smelled like it would be good on pancakes. ABV is 27%, I can only imagine that it tastes similar to the Colossus by Duclaw which clocks in at 22%.

Tonight it was an Old Raspy I found hidden in the fridge. (I thought I gave The Webmasterd my last one...oh well, plus to me) Then onto AleSmith Speedway Stout. (One The Webmasterd should try, but not at my expense as I'm not going to support his habit any further) ;)
