  We will be playing on Heisman with 6 minute quarters..if we want to go back to 5 that is fine with me..everyone just let me know their opinion on it. I think the games are too short this year since they chew the clock every damn play unless you are running no huddle. Everyone has 4 user games and a game vs a preseason top 20 team and everyone should have 6 home and 6 road games. Toledo doesn't have the game vs a preseason top 20 team because no one else is in the MAC and all 4 of his OOC games went to user v user games.   The Mormons of BYU travel to Austin to take on the Longhorns.
  Hawaii hosts USC.
  North Texas squares off vs Iowa
  Oregon heads to Reno to take on the Wolfpack.
  Southern Miss will try to slow down the potent triple option attack at Georgia Tech.
  The Houston Cougars head up to Norman to battle the Sooners.

  I quit playing down 24-0...
  
  i simulated the rest of the game, I really didnt get to touch the ball till the 2nd quarter. This game is shitty sometimes. Started out by stopping oregon and making pung, fucking fake punt and converted and went down field to score.
  Oregon kicks off and Nevada fumbles, Oregon scores....
  Oregon kicks off to Nevada and Nevade fumbles on their first and only offensive play of the game so far!!!!
  This game needs a patch, the oregon qb gets hurt early but the backup goes for the option play and he freezes in mid play and doesnt move, nevada sacks him.
  I gave up at this point and just simulated the rest of the game, not going to play a game when getting shit on like that!!!!!
  Hopefully the rest of my season goes better.

  BYU upsets #3 Texas in Austin. The 24 point underdog Cougars pulled out a 24-12 win over the Longhorns. During the 1st drive for the Longhorns every break seemed to be going there way. Brandon Bradley picked of Texas quarterback Garrett Gilbert but during the return Bradley was stripped of the ball and the Longhorns recovered for a new set of downs. A couple plays later Gilbert went for the end zone and Cougars free safety made a great interception but was tackled in the end zone for a questionable Safety. So once again Texas gets the ball back and are up 2-0 on BYU. On Texas very next play Gilbert runs the option and his pitch was fumbled and BYU MLB Jordan Atkinson scooped and scored from 50 yards out. BYU 7 Texas 2.
  In the 1st quarter BYU only ran 1 offensive play but had a 7-2 lead. BYU went on to take a 14-12 lead at halftime, and never looked back. Scoring another touchdown in the 3rd and adding a FG in the 4th the Cougars defense WON this game for them shutting out the Longhorns offense in the 2nd Half and forcing 3 turnovers in the first half.

  "A great ballclub and a somewhat unorthodox offense to prepare for, we'll have to play strict assignment football to be able to come out with a victory. It feels like Christmas getting to kick off your opener, especially on the road on primetime television at night in Atlanta at Bobby Dodd stadium, always a tough environment to play in. I thnk my kids will be ready and this will be a huge test of where we are to begin the season and how far we have to go."

  Southern Miss loses a tough opener, 35-0 against a strong Georgia Tech squad. The Eagles couldn't muster much offensively against an athletic Tech defense.

  "We were outmanned tonight, they were just physically stronger than us and whipped us all over the field. We missed a lot of tackles, missed too many blocking assignments up front, dropped balls in the passing game and didnt' take care of the football at other times. I was pleased with how we played defensively in the 2nd half, but offensively we were horrid and that will definately change by the time we hit the field next Saturday. The good thing is we have 9 days to prepare for the next one."

  Middle Tenn and Utah just finished an instant, instant classic. 7-7 at half and still 7-7 headed to the 4th..MTSU puts together a nice drive and goes up 14-7, but the Utes would not give up and came right back and scored a touchdown with less than 2 minutes left. MTSU was forced to punt and Utah would get it back on thier own 40 with 30 seconds left, full compliment of timeouts. 2 or 3 plays later the Utes connect on a pass down inside the MTSU 25 and call a TO with 10 left. They get the ball into the middle of the field on the next play but cannot call a TO and we go to overtime.
  
  It then took 5 overtimes and 62 points before a winner was crowned. The teams went back and forth..trading TDs. In the 3rd OT, MTSU was stopped on their 2 point conversion..giving Utah a chance to win it after they scored a TD. They failed but got the conversion on the next TD in the 4th OT. MTSU scored again and had to convert a 2 pt conversion to keep the game alive. They did, but a fumble on their next drive and a screen pass during a blitz on the first play from scrimmage for Utah and the Utes had a 48-42 victory. 14-14 going into OT..Utah wins overtime 34-28. Great, great game.

  NAVY 42 TOLEDO 21 Confidents was cheesing pretty bad going for it every fourth down no matter where he was at on the field. Still got the victory and that's all that matters
