  As I said, and Matta has stated, he is in need of some size after next year when Lauderdale is gone. He is currently recruiting that size, but it looks as though this kid may be a fit with some talent. He is left handed, not amazing stats but is a 3/4 position player with decent handles from what I read.

  BTW, he was a top 150, 3* talent. He has talent to be sure, but as is the case often with players who are available this late, they get offered by pretty much everyone who needs to fill a hole.

  You sure about the Big Ten comment? And it seems your Hoosiers and Crean are hot after him as well.

  Positive. He and his "teammate" were told they would get full releases and they didnt. They just found out, and are currently fighting it. They plan on going public to make a mess out of it, but typically players dont win these situations but I REALLY hope they do cause Indiana can use ANY size with SOME skill they can get right now.

  Disagree. This kid seems ok. He is a 3 star on one site, 4 star on another. From what I have read, he lefty with good handles able to play the 3, but also able to post up. He is already 230lbs. If you knew anything about Madsen, he wasn't near this chizzled coming out of HS and didn't have much of a perimeter game. I don't think they are anywhere close in comparison.
  My concern is this kid was in a bit of trouble in HS though.
  I also trust that Matta knows what he is doing. When Madsen showed up at OSU, Matta was in NEED of bodies.....he isn't in that situation now.
