Answer the question and then post a new one.

Who are the 4 #15 seeds to defeat #2 seeds? Name teams involved and the year. Try not to google if possible.
  • Wooball
    I have 3 but can't think of the 4th
Santa Clara (steve nash ) over Arizona
    Coppin State over South Carolina
Hampton over Iowa State (Marcus Fizer/ Jamal Tinsley?)

Coppin State over South Carolina (1997)
Hampton over Iowa State (Marcus Fizer/ Jamal Tinsley?) - 2001
After walking into the shop I remember the 4th:
Richmond Spiders over the Syracuse Orangemen (1991)
I did have to google the years

What team has won twice as a 14 seed, and who did they defeat?
  • september63
Gongaga (before they became more famous?
    Siena?
  • Wooball
incorrect. This school won 1 game in the tournament 2 different years as a 14 seed, defeating a 3.

  • Laley23
Cleveland State beat Indiana in 1986 :(
Also beat Wake Forest last year as a 13 seed.

But the answer is Weber State:
    -1995 beat Michigan State
    -1999 beat North Carolina
  • Nate
    Weber St. '95 '99
    Michigan St.
    North Carolina

  • Laley23
lol, alright. Make a question for me here then...
  • mattinctown
    I'll give ya one :)

What was the last team to not qualify for the NCAA Tournament despite ranking No. 1 in regular-season schedule strength (since 1991)?
  • Laley23
Ill just throw out Indiana from a few years ago...but i doubt that is right. I dont think their schedule was #1.
  • trackandccrunner
Matt I want to say UNC just because it would fit knowing you haha.
  • mattinctown
^^^^ Good point but actually no :)

Hint: they are a tournament team this year.
  • trackandccrunner
Yeah I was like 98% positive it wasnt them but I just had to say it lol.

But I feel like I know this because I think its actually is an ACC school maybe Maryland or Wake?
  • mattinctown
Ding Ding, Maryland. The website I got it from didn't give the year, but it was post-1991. Your turn! :)

I don't think this is right. I'm pretty sure UVA finished with the toughest strength of schedule in 2009.
  • trackandccrunner
Haha I'm good I'm pretty drunk right now to post a question... someone else can post one tho. And if it is UVA still its an ACC school haha!

Who was the last team to make it to the national championship game undefeated?
  • mattinctown
The two RPI websites I checked had UVA at SOS #2 and #3, so it could go either way.
