Rivalry In Blue: North Carolina at Duke - Cameron Indoor

wildcats20At least Carolina has a chance to ruin someone else's season if they can beat Ga Tech.
-
september63Scheyer will never (start) a game in the NBA!!
-
wildcats20BFD. These 2 schools aren't the University of Texas, where all they care about is making a kid a better potential pro.
I tip my hat to him(I can't stand him), he had one hell of a last 2+ years in Durham -
ironman02It would be nice if Carolina decided to show up for that game against Tech, but after tonight, I have my doubts. I would say 16-16 is about to happen on Thursday night. What a nightmare.
By the way, congrats to the Dukies on here. Your team played very well tonight. I'm sure this feels good. That's the only nice comment about Duke that I'm gonna give out, so cherish it. -

Genius of me. Ive never seen so may High School All Americans fail to come together as a team as this NC team. Is Roy going "stale" there or what?september63 wrote: i have been extremely critical of BOTH teams this year. Ill gladly take UNC +14.5. As a matter of fact, I have. -
mattinctownNot sure how many of your 2,034 posts I've read on here, but do you ever have anything positive to say about anything or anyone? I'm sure YOU were a High School All-American, or could start a game in the NBA, right? Not sure what you have against Scheyer, but I'll take the odds that you couldn't hold his jock, and that his mom wouldn't give you the time of day.... Don't really care if he starts a game in the NBA or not, he's a winner who has had a great career at Duke, not some little punk bitch on a sports forum. Glad you lost your money!

Just wish I could of played -
hoops23I wonder what Deon Thompson has said on twitter.. Senior leader my ass. Tyler made him look much better than he really was..
This season was a good haymaker to the face of this thing we call reality. Just putting on the jersey doesn't do it.. They need to go out and play with as much emotion and tenacity as Roy Williams uses on the sidelines.. -
swamisezI took more abuse from Carolina fans last night, than I have when they won.
It was quite funny. Lots of angst was pouring out due to the butt kicking they endured.
Understandable. I stood there and took it, because I remember what it is like to be on the other side of it.
Today will be enjoyable as I travel to Durham Chapel Hill and meet with some of Roy's minions. -
Swamp FoxWith all due respect to the long time rivalry between these two legendary neighbors, 82-50 does not qualify as a rivalry, it qualifies as a massacre. I'm sure that the Tar Heels will rebound next year, but oh my goodness......
-
cbus4lifeI was hoping for a good game.
Oh well, can't believe UNC has fallen THIS FAR after one year. I knew they were going to be down, but this is much worse than anyone could have expected.
I mean, i'm sure they'll be back up at the top of the ACC next year, but this season is going to leave a bad taste in peoples mouths for a long time, i would imagine. -

Can you imagine Coach K, at this stage in his career, having a 16-16 or 16-17 record (which very well could be the case after a likely first round ACC ousting and possibly a first round loss in the CBI -- if they make it there)? Can you imagine Thad Matta letting Ohio State slip to this? Tom Izzo?cbus4life wrote: I was hoping for a good game.

Roy has proven he can coach -- one national title and another national title with Doherty's kids prove this -- and coach really well. But this season, I would think, proves that he's just "not the best." The best, at this level, doesn't let this happen. Especially not after such a successful run. He's a top five coach in the game, but not the best, as some here have claimed.
John "Rex" Henson better not go pro. He may not be a punk per se, but I will enjoy punking his frohawk ass again a year from now. -
reclegend22^^Lol.
I think there may be a Gus Macker in Worthington this year. I'm sure Rex Henson could dunk on someone and tell them about it there. -

wildcats20Fail...

ouch, that hurts.reclegend22 wrote: From our friends at the Charlotte News & Observer ...

reclegend22I believe the other side (or some other sign near it) read, "For only 5 cents, you can feed John Henson."
Lol. If I can find it, I'll post an Andy Milonakis skit that identifies with Henson perfectly. -
wildcats20So what was the pic of Rec???
-
reclegend22All in good fun, fellas.
I'm sure after K retires, Duke will one day fare a similar season. It's the nature of sports. -
reclegend22Oh, haha, you can't see it?
-
reclegend22And, yes, I fixed my grammar. Apparently, I was focused on cotton candy and roller derbys. Lol.
-
wildcats20Nope not at all...lol...hence my Fail post...
-
reclegend22Haha, oh well.
I saw it posted on a Duke site, and it works for me here. I mean I can see it.
It's lost it effect now, but it it read, "Text 90999 to donate $10 to the UNC Disaster" and on the reverse said, "For only five cents, you can feed John Henson." Only funny because of Roy's whole thing a month or so ago, and because John Henson looks like a two iron.
[insert Train's two titles since your last here]
Haha, yes, I'm aware. -
wildcats20lol

september63Duke student council invited the Presybtarian College fan that Roy had thrown out of the arena earlier this year. He sat front row mid court last night. Excellent.
