MulvaHow do you shoot 18% on free throws?
Good lord Will Foster. -
Laley23
Last night he air balled the first. He thought it was going in cause it was online and did the gayest little hop step when it fell short cause he thought it might go in. NExt shot was like 10 feet. It was literally 2 feet short, lol.Mulva wrote: How do you shoot 18% on free throws?
Good lord Will Foster.
He made one early in the year and ran back on defense smiling with his fists pumping he was so excited.........then had to sheepishly come back for the second one, lol. -
MulvaHahaha he just jumped about 200 players up my favorite player list. I could definitely picture that guy forgetting about the 2nd free throw.
-
mattinctownSt. Mary's up 58-50 on Gonzaga with 7:30 left.....
-
MulvaGonzaga is not doing a good job of making adjustments.
-
mattinctownSt. Marys punches their ticket to the dance, beating Gonzaga by a good margin

Azubuike24Sun Belt Finals
Troy vs North Texas - Like the SoCon, the two division winners make it to the finals, although neither was a favorite by many going in. Troy I think has too much with Hazzard, Delk and Vogler, and Coleman inside can dominate.
Summit League Finals
Oakland vs IUPUI - These two were clearly the best all year long and this should be an entertaining game to watch. The teams split, both winning on their home floors, but Oakland only beat IUPUI by 3 while the Jaguars bombed Oakland by 24 at home.
Horizon League Finals
Wright State vs Butler - The biggest fans of this one will be those who support bubble teams, and they will be big time Butler fans. Wright State has some success beating the Bulldogs in the Horizon Tourney in the past, but Butler has a lock on this league and should make it a perfect 20-0 season.
Other Games
Lots of teams still with hopes in action tomorrow. The Big East round 1 starts with Connecticut taking on St. John's, South Florida taking on DePaul, Seton Hall playing Providence and Cincinnati squaring off against Rutgers. Dayton, Rhode Island and Charlotte are also in action in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Tourney. -
darbypitcher22Would love to see the Raiders get in.
How does St. Mary's win affect the bubble situation? I know a lot of people still had them out had they not gotten to job done last night, which pushes Gonzaga to an at-large? -
gorocks99Yep, Gonzaga takes an at-large spot that would've otherwise been there I think. Question is, where does St. Mary's get seeded now? They looked pretty good last night, I think they're a pretty talented team, but considering had they lost they would've been a small-conference school without a bid, the committee won't put them higher than 11 ... would they?
If not, that's a good 5-12/6-11 upset I could see happening very easily. -
darbypitcher22They won't go higher than 11. I like them as a 12 and to pull the sort of annual 5/12 upset
-
MulvaNorth Texas takes out Troy and will be dancing.
And the Summit League buzzer is broken. -
ironman02Posted this on the bubble watch thread, but UConn lost by 22 to St. John's tonight, eliminating them from NCAA contention.
Also, Charlotte lost to UMass, which means they're probably out as well. Dayton and Rhode Island both won, and South Florida and Seton Hall also won. -
MulvaOakland is going to win the Summit League, and Butler is absolutely rolling Wright State. No bid stealer there.
-
HereticCurrently, Nebraska (2-14 Big XII) is manhandling Missouri 27-14. Only a bit more than halfway through the first half, but bears noticing. Especially since today's Lunardi Bracketology has Missouri as a #7 who would play #10 St. Mary's with the winner (barring big upset) playing Ohio State in the second round. A loss in their opening tournament game would likely drop them a spot or two.
And yes, the fact I'm mentioning things like where Lunardi currently has teams when it's (a) just a prediction and (b) changes every day does mean I'm bored at work and wishing it was 5 p.m. -
MulvaNebraska up 17 on Mizzou with under 10 minutes to go. What a terrible loss that would be.
-
HereticIt's down to a 10-point margin. However, there is less than 2 minutes to play.
-
HereticAnd Missou chokes big time against their conference's worst team in the opening round of the tournament. That'll drop them a couple of seeds, I'd think.
-
Azubuike24A huge break for Texas A&M. They will basically have a bye to the semifinals against Kansas.
-
MulvaSmall schools are killing me tonight.
First Quinnipiac decides to lose their first home game of the year to Robert Morris, and now Weber State has had a 40-20 halftime lead cut down to 61-60 with under 4 minutes left. -
MulvaWeber State's dumbass coach uses their last timeout after the 1st free throw with 2.6 seconds left, so Montana misses the 2nd free throw intentionally and they have to throw a full court heave at the buzzer. Fucking idiocy.
How you can blow a 20 point halftime lead on your home court is beyond me. -
mattinctownWow, I turned that game off at halftime thinking it was over. Anthony Johnson of Montana scores 34 points in the SECOND HALF, and Montana wins the game. Congrats to the Grizzlies.
-
darbypitcher22Montana will get bounced early. That kid had a great half, but I was just NOT impressed with either team during that game
-
Little DannyUC comes back from 12 to nip Louisville 69-66. Cats need to upset WVU for any chance to make the tournament. They lost to WVU by six just a few weeks ago.
-
Laley23I think Cinci has a good shot. As Azu mentioned on another thread, they match-up well. If they win....they are on the bubble but still out.
-
Heretic
Well, yeah...they're projected as a 14 seed. Odds are they will be bounced early. It's not like they were some underdog winning a major conference championship where that'd be any sort of actual prediction.darbypitcher22 wrote: Montana will get bounced early. The thing that hurts Cinci the most is history. They're currently 18-14 and I read that no 15-loss team has ever gotten an at-large bid, which means they likely will need to win three more tournament games to get in. Making the finals gives them a half-decent shot, but will the committee reward a mediocre team because of one very good week?Laley23 wrote: I think Cinci has a good shot.
