anyways, notre dame is having a down year in recruiting as well....it is what it is.

i do not even think our "top" recruit (louis nix) is that *great* certainly not worthy of a top 150 player ranking....oh well, i hope we can land some new guys this weekend...
sometimes you make it hard for me to hate Notre Dame fans. Guess I'll have to go read a Rock post to bring it back.:D

But, based on what we've been told -- and it should in no way be written on any type of official biblical tablet carved in stone or anything -- Henderson looks to be headed for the Buckeyes. With the Fighting Irish nipping at the heels in a close second.

^ concerning seantrel, apparently his visit to "da U" this weekend was a "perfect 10"

although, he has always been a very PC type of guy so take it fwiw....

Yeah, Henderson has said every visit has been great outside of the USC trip where he didn't like a few things that happened fan wise.

All of the guys predicting his commitment are just opinions. Its been made clear to the Henderson's to keep their mouths shut before the big announcement on Wednesday. That's why you continually see him saying that I have no leader and all teams are still in it. You know he has knocked his list down to probably but he can't say.

Is that the only reason you don't him? Duron Carter's twitter was just as bad when it came out he was ineligible for the rose bowl. I suppose he gets a pass because he is the son of a legend?
I've never seen Duron's twitter page. Mind sending me his page?

I'm just saying I'm pretty sure Carter is still wanted on the team even after the issue with his grades. To make a blanket statement about Anderson not being wanted due to the content of his facebook page is silly.
No it's not. To be honest, I've never seen Carter's Facebook page or Twitter page. Therefore, I am not going to comment on something I do not know about. However, I have paid close attention to Anderson's Facebook page and almost every post he makes is "thuggish". Someone mentioned, "I want thugs!" What a moronic post. No you don't. You mentioned, "Well look at Miami and how great they were!" Yeah.... not look at Miami and how badly they are struggling. Thugs ruin your program. There is no need or room for them. Sure... every program is going to have a few (even OSU), but if winning national titles means selling out (schools like U$C, Florida, and Miami -- even though i have to admit I do root for Miami because they're style of play is sweet), I'd rather have OSU be a renowned, respectable program than heading to the "streetz".

It's private now, you can't see it unless he adds you. It wouldn't be a surprise if someone from OSU's athletic department "asked" him to do so. I haven't seen Anderson's but since you describe it as "thuggish" and he uses the "n word" in every other post, I will say Carter's is similar.

This coming from the guy who tried to start a thread to rile up Buckeye fans and it really just didn't work. ;) Yes OSU lost out on the three biggest propects in Ohio. As others have said OSU was probably not a good fit for any of the three. Not saying that I wouldn't have liked them but sometimes you just can't get them all.

Is this a joke? You WANT clean cut kids over thugs? Shit, give me all the thugs we can get. What made Miami successful for a while, now Florida? Thugs. You want to have a swagger to your team, and guys like TP and Duron Carter give us that, I'm fine with recruiting thugs.

Because Tressel, unlike some other coaches, will quickly put thugs who step out of line in the doghouse (cough cough Ray Small).
IMO i think there is a HUGE difference between a thug and someone with a swagger attitude. We need players with swagger, not thuggish tendencies.

Also, we may have lost this year's 3 top Ohio recruits, but considering we land some of the top recruits in the entire nation every season, we should be ok.

Pretty much the common line from every recruit right after any visit they do. Ho hum...

As for the 3 5 star recruits OSU "lost" out on....you have to have something to lose something. I don't think OSU had a legit shot at any 3 of them. And as mentioned, one would NOT have qualified. If OSU had a shot, then I would be more disappointed.
Henderson is big IMO. I hope OSU gets him to shore up a NOT so very good recruiting class. I am not afraid to admit its far from a very good class. But as mentioned, one class is not going to kill you as OSU has had other very good classes in recent previous years. Next year will obviously be a big/must year to bring in a better class.

If OSU closes with Henderson, Moses, and throw in another player then it will be a very good class imo. They have the potential to be a Top 10 class.
