And I think ND fans should be banned from talking about top recruits, until they win a bowl game better than the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl against a depleted 6-6 WAC team. What the hell do they know about winning games with top recruits? Nothing, and you can take that to the bank. -

He has a final visit to Miami, but I'm not sure when that is. It may have been mentioned on here sometime, but I'm not sure. My sources at Lakota West HS continually tell me that Hicks is a lock to OSU. . . I'm not holding my breath though! -
ironman02I've heard quite a few people at Lakota West say that they think OSU still has a good shot too. Hicks won't come out and say that it's OSU, but he won't rule them out either. There could be several reasons for him doing that, but at least he hasn't eliminated OSU from contention. Tressel still has an in-home visit with him, so maybe he can reel him in. It's gonna be tough though because of Hicks' Texas roots, and the fact that apparently nearly every high profile recruit wants to go to Florida right now.

OSU is still deep, a top 10 class is only a ranking, 2 or 3 years until you see true results.
He said he was too ill to continue coaching. Then he backtracked. Was he lying when he said he was ill or is he lying now?
He said he went to the hospital for dehydration when it was much more serious. He lied about that, too.
Seems to me there's no "opinion" involved here. Only facts.
Oh and I say this as a BG grad who at one time loved and supported this guy. I even defended him to OSU folks who thought he was a scumbag. Well, he's acting like a real "SEC guy" now and I can't defend him, anymore. -

From what I hear, it'll come down to USC, OSU and Minnesota for Seantrel's services. Don't count out the Gophers, although it has been tough to get a read from the articles I've read/people I've talked to. -
