I officially hate Ped St. (almost) as much as ttun---I've got tix for the 10/28 game, and I can't wait to watch Bosa, et al break McSorley in half...that being said, I hope Barkley wins the Heisman--he deserves it.

Knew USC would lose a game or 2, but didn't expect it at Wazzou

why not? usc hasn't done anything to warrant their ranking this year. i'd lump them in with penn state in terms of completely unwarranted high rank

    LSU sucks.

Exhibit A of what happens when a school goes for a comfort hire instead of looking for an actual good head coach.

Can espn stop talking about two SEC teams getting in the CFP? For fucks sake, that conference is not what it used to be. I know you paid a lot of money to endorse them, espn, but don’t be morons and say the loser of Bama/Georgia still might get in over an undefeated big conference team.

Agreed. I don't think a team who is not their conference champion (Champ game) should get in. I do not agree with Buckeyes being in last year.

I don’t agree with you there. Why have a committee if you’re just going to put the 4 highest ranked conference champions in the cfp? There needs to be some room for subjectivity and OSU last year was a good example of that (despite being blown out by Clemson).

Given the 4 team format, my opinion is they should each be a conference champion. Would rather see the format changed to allow more teams.

What if two conference champions are 10-3 and a second place team in another confer now is 12-1 with its only loss to its conference champion?

Change the system. Going to 8 teams allows you to get your big 5 conference champions (make B12 have a champ. game) and 3 at large. Even going to 6 solves a little.

Given the 4 team format, can come up with multiple scenarios (including yours).

I would like to see an 8 team as well. Don’t get me wrong. But there will definitely be scenarios in an 8 team format that would cause some issues. It’s never going to be perfect.

8 team would be legit. Let the higher seed host the first round games. I would love to see a home college playoff atmosphere.

Also, there might be some issues, but if you aren’t cracking the top 8 it’s hard to feel that bad. It would be hard to argue that they had a legitimate shot of winning it all.

Given the LENGTHY bowl season, I think it's more than feasible logistically as well. You play round 1 as early as you can, give 2-3 weeks b/f round 2 (for travel purposes) and these could be played on New Year's day, then another 1-2 weeks before championship.

A home college football playoff game would be absolutely incredible. It's already really good at the big matchups, but adding playoffs to it would be fantastic.

Fuckin' Ohio. Lost by 3 to Central Michigan. At the end of the first half, they scored a touchdown to go up 20-7, but were called for a penalty (formation, I think?) to take that off the board. They tried a field goal and it was blocked and returned for a touchdown. CMU missed the extra point, but still...they have been up 21-7 at the half and instead were only up 14-13. And then CMU took the opening drive of the second half and went down and scored to add the shit cherry to the shit sundae.

Solich doesn’t disappoint: every October we start with the WTF losses to get to 7-5 or 8-4, then lose the MAC Championship and The Who Gives A Fuck Bowl. As predictable as the sun rising

    Florida State is so bad.

A&M QB just looked like Vick in college juking 5 Bama players and 15 yards in gets smeared by Bama backer and fumbles. Plays before he looked just like Manziel but that play was Vick-ish

62 total points in regulation, 77 in OT! I guess the defenders didn't do to good at tackling because they were afraid of getting kicked out for targeting! Purdue and Minnesota had a delay because they were scared of being struck by lightning! 50 years ago there were no such fears.

What a scramble play by the MSU QB...wow! UM on life support
