That would be one hell of a shot to get a tip off a full-court inbounds pass
  • Ironman92
    Wasn't a smart play....if he touches it it's over

LOL...might be worse than the infamous "Heidi" incident

Monk hit a couple killer contested shots late.

UNC a better team but need to play better to win it all.

    Holy shit.

Luke Maye. I hated him for so long.

My iPad almost went though the TV.

Well, I missed the entire end of the game. Thanks, 10TV. Currently getting hail here in Columbus, but I don't give a fuck.

If the executives from 10TV were standing in front of me right now, they would be done. I seriously lost my damn mind. Never been more furious in my entire life.

Feel bad for Fox. Damn. Passionate kid. I'll be rooting for him in the NBA

So you didn't see Meeks? When did it cut out?

It was 73-70 and Carolina was inbounding. Then the next time I saw anything other than a black screen and a weather guy talking, they were shaking hands after the game was over.

    Terrible

    At least they advanced.

I get that a severe storm is more important than a sporting event, but the thing that pissed me off is that my screen was just black other than the warnings scrolling across the top. If I'm just gonna hear some weather guy talking, at least show me the game!!

Meeks not inbounding the ball (or calling a timeout) was ridiculous. Then, of course, Jackson missed the FT to seal the game. Thankfully Luke Maye bailed Carolina out and prevented a massive choke job after they fought so hard to go on a 12-0 run after trailing 64-59. Maye has really become a solid player, far better than I expected him to be, and will still be around for two more years. I might feel bad for UK fans since it was Luke Maye that beat them, but Isaac fucking Humphries was automatic today so it all evened out.

By the way, Fox, Monk, and Bam are all really good players and seem like good kids too. Seeing Fox and Bam crying after the game was bad. Heartbreaking way to lose, and Carolina knows that heartbreak all too well after last year's title game.

I lost it in the post game interview when Roy said "I didn't want to call a timeout."

So how does everyone view the final 4 teams? Other than UNC fans...who are you rooting for? Other thoughts?

I think UNC is the best team but Oregon has played the best game, Gonzaga looks primed and ready and USC hasn't even been challenged until Florida. They've all shown a high enough level of play to win.

UNC has the most room for error and Berry's ankle will be way better in 6 days....if Thornwell gets in foul trouble USC is in big trouble.

I'm rooting for South Carolina but will be happy if Gonzaga wins too. If Oregon continues their near perfection like they did against KU and wins it all...I'll be good with that. If UNC plays well and wins it all, that won't bother me because I never have a problem when the best team wins.....now if UNC is getting most borderline calls and banking in 3's and win it all, yeah that will piss me off.

I think UNC will win...but have no clue how the other semi will go. Waiting on USC to suck but not sure it's going to happen. I think they are slightly better than Gonzaga but will guess Gonzaga plays well and USC finally shows they aren't one of the top scoring teams of the tournament.

Finally....Sindarius Thornwell is making himself some good money with this tournament run. I think he's played himself into a 20-25th pick. I'll be surprised if he's not a 1st round pick.

It's lose-lose with the size of their market. Everyone outside of Franklin County thinks they ignore everything outside of Columbus (including severe weather) too. If the policy is to cut in for a tornado warning for a county in their area (and that is literally the policy of every station ever anymore) it doesn't matter if it's 400K people in Franklin County or 12 people in Vinton County.

I actually sat through a presentation where Chris Bradley of WBNS went over this back in 2008 or 2009. They absolutely fucking dread the day it happens during something like OSU football because it's going to be a disaster no matter what is chosen, especially if a tornado would actually hit. Luckily being a CBS station it would likely never happen.
