ironman02Huge blocked FG by USC!
At the same time, Louisville basically sealed the win over Wake. -
1_beastIowa came to play!
-
Ironman92Louisville finished well lol
-
Ironman92Well, into the 4th USC at worst is going to give Washington a huge scare. They likely need 2 defensive stops to pull off the upset.
I still think we've seen all of the upsets we are going to see today. -
iclfan2Need Michigan to win.

You think PSU gets beat?Ironman92;1824146 wrote:Don't think we need to -
Ironman92USC playing so far off receivers on 3rd and 10....but allow receivers deep on 1st down. Better tighten up for any chance

1_beastttun winning really may be needed unfortunately....unless we can count on MSU to beat PSU

How else would they get there? For simplicity we definitely do. Other than that, Alabama, Clemson, Penn state (if that happens) and then who?Ironman92;1824146 wrote:Don't think we need to

If Michigan loses and drops to say #5 and then OSU beats them in a tight one they probably fall to around #10 or #11 (but hell still maybe top 7)....regardless if Bama does their thing and win out they are #1, then say Louisville/Clemson one of 4....then Wisconsin beats Penn State in B1G Championship would be in.1_beast;1824150 wrote:ttun winning really may be needed unfortunately....unless we can count on MSU to beat PSU
So OSU would be 11-1 with wins over #3 or #4 Wisconsin and top 12 Michigan and Oklahoma who could be #7-#14....and destroying of top 25 Nebraska ..... Who would be above them? Clemson/Louisville lower ranked? Washington (if they lose today)? A&M?
Nothing real crazy there -
Azubuike24Clemson still in the driver's seat, even with a loss. Louisville has to be feeling good.
A Washington, Michigan and Clemson loss almost guarantees Alabama a playoff spot, win or lose.
The problem is, the 2-loss teams aren't very strong at all.
Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Nebraska, Washington State, Texas A&M, West Virginia (1 loss, not a real contender) and Florida. That's it. And a lot of these teams still play each other or the other 0 or 1 loss teams above them. -
iclfan2See ya Washington.

Fly4FunIf Washington goes down (almost certainty at this point). OSU doesn't need Michigan to win anymore. OSU will be by far the best 1 loss team even without getting to the Big 10 Championship game.
Those wins at Oklahoma and Wisconsin look really damn good. -

OSU could be a pretty strong #2 and miss B1G Championship. Be hard for committee to bump them 3 spots without losing...especially since Louisville in same boat without the resume is next best bet. -
Azubuike24Heck, the only 2-loss teams that I think legitimately could have craziness happen and get back in the race are Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Oklahoma is going to be ranked in the top 10 with games against 1-loss WVU and 2-loss Oklahoma State left, which would give them 2 big wins. Wisconsin is going to likely play in the Big Ten title game where they would face another tougher team.
As I've said all along, the talk of A&M, Nebraska, Florida, Penn State and others is meaningless. -
Azubuike24A&M is going to go down to Ole Miss. I was definitely wrong, they blew a huge lead in this one and the 5-star Freshman QB for Ole Miss looks incredible. Kelly is definitely never playing another down for the Rebels.
-
Ironman92Ole Miss just knocked off A&M
-
ironman02Wow. What a crazy day.
Michigan is trying everything they can to lose too. -

Michigan with a loss to OSU would still have better wins than Washington with wins over top 5 Washington and Colorado going to be about #10 after this week.....it would be closethavoice;1822364 wrote:Unless OSU dismantles them. I think the only way a team that doesnt make/win their conference championship makes it is if other teams really flop. Not that it would be "right" but I just think if, as we speculate, Clemson, OSU, Bama and Wash win out I dont think they allow a team, even with just one loss, like michigan in that didnt even get to their conf champ game. Just dont think it happens. -
Ironman92New rankings will be interesting!
-
Ironman92WTF play was that??????
Completely unnecessary -
Azubuike24While they aren't in the hunt, Houston hosts Louisville on Thursday night. The way the UL offense looked tonight, that may be another tough one. Clemson plays at Wake Forest and OU/WVU. Pretty light week leading up to the final weekend after Thanksgiving.
