From His Mouth: Gibson is returning to OSU

  • BigAppleBuckeye
Why are you guys dogging lhslep, this is good info, I appreciate this news. I am sensing some male PMS on the Huddle today, ehhh? :P

    ^ I agree BAB

Yeah, why don't you guys lay off. He started a post, sharing some info he had. No reason to attack him or belittle him for it.

However I agree that he crossed the line with his "exagerated example". He was right to edit it. Now someone needs to edit it from the quoted post. I know we're more liberal here than the old place, but that word doesn't need to be used/seen/read to make a point...anywhere!

I never meant to attack him, but he took it so personal and responded with such little class he brought it on himself.

On the topic, I do think Gibson and Heyward return. I think they realize the potential this team has next year, and it really will be a huge letdown if OSU is not playing in the National Championship next year.

Agreed. I think anyone with half a brain knows to take a grain of salt with what a student reporter says. I believe him, and I hope he's right, but I think we all know that's not the last word on those 2.

BTW, Todd McShay said they both should come back, FWIW.

Dang, who gave Randy Marsh a press pass?
  • thedynasty1998
I accept full responsibility for being the first to call out lhslep for the credibility of his exclusive one-on-one interview with Thaddeus Gibson.

Maybe he should leave the real reporting to the real reporters in the future and keep his cell phone pictures to himself.

They are both making a huge mistake if they come back
  • FatHobbit
Good luck to him. I hope he makes a ton of cash.

    So much for our "reporter"

He reported what Gibson said. I don't have a problem with that.

But as others pointed out, in the excitement after a big win I would be surprised if anyone would announce they were leaving.

I think you will also see Heyward leave

I remember when Vernon Gholston left---I was like WTF WHAT WE GOING TO DO NOW. In came Thaddeus Gibson.

We're Ohio State. We will reload.

All the juniors who can go (NOT CHIMDE--HE AINT RDY)---should go. The NFL is redoing the CBA after next year. They could be leaving millions of dollars on the table if they stay.

Yeah you have to figure Gibson was going to say what the audience wanted to hear. No way he is going to drop that bomb right after a nice win. Reporters were Debbie downers for asking him that question anyways. Why not wait a little while...

Nathan Williams should be the next guy to break out as a solid pass rushing DE. I was impressed with his play this past year and I was also surprised how much bigger he looks. Gholsten, Gibson and now Williams have all been huge despite being outweighed by most other teams d-lineman
  • thedynasty1998
Couldn't agree more about Williams. I seen most of these guys up close, and I'm a pretty big guy, so I get a good feel for how big someone really is. Not many of the OSU guys wowed me the way that Williams did. The guy is HUGE! And very athletic.

True to some extent. But it depends on the guy. Somebody who might be a Lower round pick (5th - 7th) could improve their stock and could move up
