There is no technicality. If they win out, they are the SEC West Champs.
Does hot garbage cause dumpster fires?

    Same here.

There are going to be a lot of pissed off OSU fans at 7 tonight if OSU isn't #1.

They won't be #1....my guess is #3 behind clemson and LSU....They do not deserve to be #1 yet

I'm hoping we are at #4. Seemed to work well for us last year.

Bucks 16th in first rankings last year

    1. Ohio State
    2. LSU (until Bama beats them Saturday)
    3. Clemson
    4. Baylor

    I'm glad OSU isn't #1.

HTF does AL get in top 4? And ND is no fkg way #5. The committee is drinking behind closed doors.

LOL at these rankings. Committee setting things up nicely for LSU/AL. If Alabama wins it pretty much secures a spot in the playoff and still gives a 1 loss LSU team chance to get in. If LSU wins they have wiggle room to lose one game and still get in. At this point I think MSU has a much better resume than bama and they are #7.

Might actually show the committee is watching games and ranking teams that way. It makes it almost impossible to predict based on criteria though.

It honestly doesn't matter considering how many games between the teams in the top 10-15 remain anyway. Things will work out and it's almost a guarantee that some of the teams who get in will have a loss. If there aren't four unbeatens, nobody can really bitch.

According to Sagarin, Alabama has the #9 SOS. Michigan State is at #59.

If that ends up being the final 4, you can go ahead and give OSU the trophy now. All of those teams are terrible and OSU can play Zeek at QB and still win every game by 3 TDs.

If nothing else they have sent a clear message to the big 12,Tcu and Baylor that they are probably fucked.

I disagree. It shows that the Big 12 schedule is just awful from the beginning of the season to now. If Baylor were to win out (which I don't think they will), they'll have wins over #15, #14, and #8 (as of right now) and would probably jump Notre Dame and be in. The clearer message, in my mind, is that the CFP Committee really thinks the SEC is the best conference and it's not even close in their mind.
