Your top heisman candidates for next year
-
2quik4uMark Ingram
Dion Lewis
Jake Locker
Ryan Williams
John Clay
LaMichael James
Terrelle Pryor
Noel Devine -
Pick6Not saying it will be next year, but LaMichael James will win a Heisman.
-
thedynasty1998Ingram
Mallett -
OldDanTuckerTim Tebow will win it
-
derek bomarI'd say Pryor, but he won't win it until his senior year. Probably Locker if Washington is any good, maybe Ingram again but I doubt it. Who knows?
-
devil1197Obviously Ingram has to be atop the list, any returning Heisman winner has to be.
But the past couple years no SR has won the Heisman. Next year you have the SO class of RB's with Lewis, Williams, and James who all play in conferences that aren't known for great defenses imo outside of the regular top teams (USC/VaTech etc.). Those guys will continue to put up big numbers if healthy. -
rugbywrestlerI agree Locker will be a strong contender with some Washington success
-
mallymal614Tate Forcier!!!!
-
september63Mark Ingram.............................and then the rest. You would have to have him firmly as the #1 candidtate.

I think you are joking, he will struggle to even be the starter next seasonmallymal614 wrote: Tate Forcier!!!! -
mallymal614lol.

King CurtisMark Ingram enters the 2010 season as the overwhelming favorite coming in
Dion Lewis
Kellen Moore
Jake Locker -
sjmvsfscs08I'm glad most people have enough sense to not be putting Terrelle Pryor up for discussion. Last year's hype for him was just hilarious. A lot of people looked like idiots.
Quarterbacks: Ryan Mallet, Kellen Moore
Running Backs: Mark Ingram, Dion Lewis, LaMichael James
I fully expect Arkansas and Oregon to be better next season, and Alabama and Boise State to repeat their successes. I don't think Washington will have enough team success to garner the attention. -
Elliot StablerI think Mallet will leave
If Mark Ingram puts up between 1,400 and 1,500 yds and 15 Td's....he will win in a landslide -
ytownfootballMallet stays, he knows he's not ready for the NFL and cites maturity as the reason.
-
se-alumDidn't Ryan Williams already declare for the draft?
Ingram
Mallet(if he stays)
James
Locker -
Elliot StablerRyan Williams from VT?? He's a Frosh
-
TiernanIngram becomes the new Tebow for Buckeye fans. Mallet winning it would be another nail in DickRods's coffin so I'll be pulling for him.
-
TiernanWhat if Adam James asks his daddy to get a Heisman for him?
-
Hb31187what about Ryan Matthews from Fresno state
-
se-alum
My bad, I was thinking Mathews!Ryan Williams from VT?? He's a Frosh -
sleeper
Why do people say this? We only have 1 2-time Heisman winner, and I don't see it ever happening again unless some extreme talent tears it up for a big time program his freshman year, and then has 2 great seasons the following years. Either way, Ingram is a good player, but is he good enough to go down in college football history as a 2-time Heisman winner? Hell no.september63 wrote: Mark Ingram.............................and then the rest. You would have to have him firmly as the #1 candidtate. -
BigAppleBuckeyeWhat about Jeremiah Masoli? Granted he had a disappointing Rose Bowl, but you have to assume Oregon will open the season somewhere in the top 10, and this kid had a great year up until the Rose Bowl. Despite his short stature, he could make a Heisman run next year.
Obviously Ingram is the favorite and Pryor has snuck his way into a "sexy" pick ... but don't sleep on Masoli. -
