Harbaugh BRUTAL on Cowherd
-
j_crazyJust listen. It's incredibly bad. Cowherd owned it well, and sort of gave him a jab in the end.

thavoiceDidnt hear it but heard the aftermath. Guess it was brutal!

Really pathetic by Harbaugh. He better be hungover or something because he just seemed to rattle of boring neutral answers to everything.j_crazy;1738167 wrote:Just listen. It's incredibly bad. Cowherd owned it well, and sort of gave him a jab in the end.

FatHobbitI had high expectations for this, but it was just awkward IMHO. Part of the confusion was when Cowherd called the B1G a buy and Harbaugh thought he was calling the B1G a bye week for opponents.
-
SportsAndLadywas this really surprising to anyone?
Harbaugh is a giant douche, everyone knows this. -

Lol, why? Cowherd is terrible and Harbaugh doesn't have a personality. What did you expect?FatHobbit;1738183 wrote:I had high expectations for this -
Classyposter58I am so glad this was posted on here. Hahaha I was listening live and thought what the hell is happening

ou1980Been a Cowherd listener now for 10 years and he is the best in the business. He called out the big ten and our Ohio state Buckeyes during the Tressell era as being phonies and not up to speed with what was happening down south. No one, including I, wanted to hear that. He got crucified on Columbus radio and on the message boards here. Well, turns out he was 100% right on the money about that.
That being said, his interviewee today was the worst I have ever heard hands down. If I'm Michigan I'm embarrassed. There is no defending that. -
j_crazyCowherd wasn't on his game today. But Harbaugh had the personality of a wet blanket today. Seems like he'd be hard to relate to on a personal level after that.
-
wildcats20Lol
@CoachJim4UM: In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker. -
Azubuike24My FB feed blew up today with OSU fans just blasting Harbaugh. It's crazy some of the stories I've heard about stuff he did behind the scenes with the 49ers. You wouldn't expect him to sound or come off how he does, but he's really that bad. It's actually kind of scary that someone with such extroverted and over-the-top behavior in public can be like this when in a formal setting.

I was expecting (hoping) Harbaugh to be an idiot from the headline. But it was just awkward.MontyBrunswick;1738198 wrote:Lol, why? Cowherd is terrible and Harbaugh doesn't have a personality. What did you expect?
I do agree that Cowherd is terrible. From the few times I've listened he likes to take a controversial stand and then pat himself on the back with how smart he is. -

In Harbaugh's defense, I was confused on that as well. Thought he referring to playing the B1G as a bye. But that's about as much as you can defend him.FatHobbit;1738183 wrote:I had high expectations for this, but it was just awkward IMHO. I was thinking they should be upset with him. He had 5-10 minutes to go out and promote the program and totally bombed it.ou1980;1738222 wrote: If I'm Michigan I'm embarrassed. There is no defending that. -
Dr Winston O'BoogieA glorified disc jockey making himself the story....
If a kid chose against Michigan based on a radio interview, I'd say he's so stupid, you wouldn't want him. -
wildcats20Cowherd built Harbaugh up and the other coaches. And then said the B1G is a buy. In what world would that mean it's a "bye week"??
-
Midstate01I listened live and I said, Harbaugh thinks he means a bye week and then when it was explained I thought it'd get better, it was bad before that, but it just kept getting worse and worse. Not sure I've ever heard a more awkward interview. Cowherd kept giving him the opportunity to sell himself and then just cut it off. It was crazy to listen to live.
-
AutomatikJust got around to listening to this. What a fucking weirdo.
-
thavoiceCowherd was saying this morning, and he is right, that in his business ya strive to be good, or an absolute trainwreck. He has a few horrible interviews a year that are just bad and get talked about and more hits than normal.
Explains how Bayless and Stephen A stay on the air! -

Colin calls it how it is. A lot of people can't handle the truth, and thus get their panties in a wad when he says something negative about their team. -
MontyBrunswickColin is an arrogant twat.
Plus his voice is awful. -
Coach_08Yes the interview was bad, but who cares really?? Harbaugh has a top 10 recruiting class and is focused on turning Michigan around. Also a lot of these high profiled college coaches have huge egos, thats what makes them great.
-
AutomatikLike Cowherd said, 18 year old recruits and their parents will care.
-
Laley23Cowherd did nothing wrong in that. Harbaugh is a fucking weirdo.
It was AWFUL before the confusion, and then even worse after. Cowherd saved Harbaugh even more embarrassment by cutting him off. Harbaugh was starting to be a dick with the "you have eligibility?" etc bullshit...before that at least he was just being weird. -
TokenAs an Ohio State fan I look forward to the future stories that come out of Ann Arbor about what a head case Harbaugh really is. He lasts three years as HC at UM at best.
Interesting both nut-jobs in Singletary and Harbaugh coached the 49ers. -
Heretic
Must have scarred the brains of the 49ers front office, since I'm not sure the new guy could count to potato, even with help.Token;1738740 wrote:As an Ohio State fan I look forward to the future stories that come out of Ann Arbor about what a head case Harbaugh really is.
