Will the media hype the 2010 Miami @ Ohio State matchup as a "Revenge Game"??

BigAppleBuckeye^^Crap, my New Year's resolution was to be a nicer BAB ... sorry Elliot Stabler. Stupid resolutions ... haha.^^

Actually, anyone without an agenda knows that Miami had a ton of help from the zebras to get the game to overtime.Elliot Stabler wrote: Miami got screwed and all you OSU fans know it -

I would gladly make a donation to the Columbus Dispatch or The Ohio State University School of Broadcasting to shoot a documentary short that covers "The Call"queencitybuckeye wrote:

Interview Big Ten and Big Twelve officials, the officiating crew at the game, members of the media and whoever else to finally bring to light how "The Call" was "The RIGHT Call" -
darbypitcher22It was a Big XII crew that night in Tempe....
Everyone knows they don't call holding in that league, thus the Pass Interference.
I'm happy he called it -
End of LineDoubt it. It'll be a game hyped around the QB's.

sjmvsfscs08More likely both quarterbacks are billed as Heisman favorites. I hope it gets a shitload of hype and the excitement is somewhere near Southern Cal-Ohio State from last season.
How much do you think my student ticket could be worth? I'd be very interested in selling that. I figured I'd sell the most-demanded OOC ticket. Nothing really matters to me until later in the season when there's more on the line.
Making a large amount of cash and watching the game on my 52''television > watching the game in person. -

specifically, look at what the ref does at 2:07-2:12
also, if not for a missed call late in the 4th OSU would have won 17-14 in regulation -

OSU won the game, and it's history. But I still don't see PI there.goosebumps wrote: -

It's not photoshopped. It was taken by a man who's daughter was in the OSU marching band. He had his camera and had only snapped pics of the band and none of the game. Since he realized this was possibly the last play of the game when the ball was snapped he stood up with the rest of the crowd and snapped his camera. When he had the picture developed this is what he had. At least, that's the story I was told when I bought the poster of this picture (without all the writing on it) that is now hanging on my wall.karen lotz wrote:

End of discussion. -
Swamp FoxIf you were a Miami fan, it wasn't pass interference. If you were a Buckeye fan, it was pass interference. The official called it pass interference. Therefore, it was pass interference. I thought it was a relatively close call, but I did think that the Ohio State receiver was run into prior to the ball arriving. Anyway, in response to the thread question, I'm not sure that this game will be hyped as a "revenge game". I think that puts too much pressure on Miami and I don't think they want to call attention to themselves. It's going to be difficult enough to win the game without the added drama.

FidmeisterSo, nine months of this shit, huh?
Glenn Sharpe was likely guilty of holding. The issue is not with the call itself, but the time it took to make the call. Had he been decisive and just made his call, it never would have been an issue. He got it sort of right. Sharpe did something wrong.
Miami lost the game on 4th and 16 when they didn't lock Antrel Rolle and Sean Taylor on Jenkins and force Krenzel to go somewhere else.
This is not a revenge game. Only one side's fan base obsesses about the other team and it's not Miami. I'd have to look at the Miami staff from then and now, but I don't think there are many coaches other than Shannon there still.
To Miami, it's just going to be a road game against a top 10 team. Nothing more. -

ts1227Can any OSU fan take a fucking joke around here?
It's pretty clear, even without 5 wink faces after each sentence, that 95% of people are just saying "Miami got screwed" in jest because they know the reaction they will get (since no one can handle a little joke being made about the Buckeyes). -

We don't have to "take fucking jokes"...becuz we are superior in every conceivable manner. "Taking a fucking joke" is reserved for ND and scUM posters until such time they can walk among college football's Gods once again.ts1227 wrote: Can any OSU fan take a fucking joke around here? -

Will people ever learn that sarcasm doesn't transfer online unless you put *sarcasm* before or after it? Believe it or not Karen, there are morons out there who would actually believe that the picture was doctored. How am I to know that you're not one of them unless you tell me?karen lotz wrote:
