Will the media hype the 2010 Miami @ Ohio State matchup as a "Revenge Game"??

  • ou1980
Just curious. Will ESPN tout this as to be Miami's revenge for OSU's 2002 National Championship, a game Miami feels was stolen from them....or has it been too long (7 1/2 years)

    Your thoughts...
  • Automatik
    I'm going with no.
  • devil1197
No, because it wasn't stolen. Actually, they tried to give Miami another shot with the missed call against OSU that would have drained the clock.

Plus it was pass interference and only The U fans, trolls, and Ratards will argue against it.
  • ytownfootball
Too long to call it a "revenge" game but there's no question in revisiting the last time these two met and all the "controversy". They'll discuss and beat the horse some more and the result will be the same.

And the game officials, and the group that awarded Porter with the call of the year.

Looks like your hatred for OSU is interfering with common logic which in turn is making you look like a tard. That was the absolute correct call......get over it.
  • mallymal614
Actually the officials probably did make the wrong call. He should have called "holding" instead of pass interference. Deserving of a flag either way :)

sorry should have added a ;) in there, I was joking. I'm over it. No reason to be so damn sensitive. I don't see why OSU fans get so defensive over a game that was played 8 years ago.

They will, but as a revenge game.....I don't think so. Different coaching staff, players are many years removed from the college game. They'll try their best to hype it up, but I think it will be a Jacory Harris vs. Terrelle Pryor hype. 2 yound emerging qb's face off in a huge early season matchup.

I think the Bucks will be ranked #2 or #3 while Miami is sitting at #9 or #10 respectively.

No revenge factor in my eyes. Too far in the past.

Will give the fans a great look at how this team will stack up in 2010.
  • sportchampps
I dont think this will be labeled the revenge game by the media. The media will be to busy talking about the battle of the duel threat qbs and who is better

Miami got screwed and all you OSU fans know it

    LOL

Even pictures can't help some, sorry elliot, can't dumb it down to any lower common denominator for you.

This won't be played up as a revenge game, but i think there will be a big deal made out of Harris vs. Pryor... knowing this, both of them will have mediocre games and somebody else will have to step up and make plays to win

When I read your "why does everybody drink during a football game" post, I knew you were a pussy, but now I see it stems from your all-around stupidity. That clears it up.
