Notre Dame might be in some trouble...

sherm03Just saw a rumor that 3 players may be expelled for Academic Fraud. May have to vacate wins from last year and the 2012 undefeated season.
I know not many people give a shit on here except that this gives you some additional ammo to make fun of ND with. But I'm interested to see how this all shakes out. -
sleeperWho cares? ND hasn't won anything in over 20+ years and taking away their 28 point blow out loss to Alabama won't change a thing.

Rumors are some pretty high profile players. I only saw 3...Ishaq Williams, Max Redfield, and KeiVarae Russell. So not sure who the 4th is.vball10set;1644483 wrote:Have they been identified yet?
Edit: Thanks athlete. Didn't hear about DD. That sucks big time! -

According to 247 Sports, there were four players – KeiVarae Russell, Ishaq Williams, Kendall Moore and DaVaris Daniels – who were not seen on the field as practice was ending Friday. -
sleeperThankfully Golson is back. Should be a big help to them beating the service academies this year.

athlete37Before the news breaks and the speculation starts here-- they were having a female assistant within the program write papers and had romantic relations with the female.

Sounds like standard protocol in the SEC.athlete37;1644502 wrote:Before the news breaks and the speculation starts here-- they were having a female assistant within the program write papers and had romantic relations with the female. -

Other than it being an internal investigation and that the female is probably not related to any of the players involved.sleeper;1644503 wrote:Sounds like standard protocol in the SEC. -

Slightly different. SEC would have "suspended them indefinitely" meaning they would have sat out the first half of the season opener.sleeper;1644503 wrote:Sounds like standard protocol in the SEC. -

There is no greater penalty than having to sit out half a game against Upper Alabama Community College.sherm03;1644505 wrote:Slightly different. SEC would have "suspended them indefinitely" meaning they would have sat out the first half of the season opener.
