MARCH MADNESS 2014 - NCAA Tourney Thread

Just when Stanford gets back into it, they give up a three point play
  • Midstate01
Dayton has had every answer for a Stanford fun.
  • Midstate01
Dayton has missed the free throw on and 1 opportunities 5 times.
  • Midstate01
Dayton going to the elite 8.

If Dayton plays as well as they are tonight against either UCLA or Florida, and you never know. Would be cool to see an Ohio team make the Final Four.

Dayton looked pretty good, but Stanford played way worse. Dayton was practically begging Stanford to make a run to get back in it.

Assuming they don't blow this Archie Miller now has more wins over top 4 seeds than Bo Ryan and more wins over single digit seeds than Scott Drew. Random notes but just researched those the past week and wanted to use them, lol.

To be fair, Bo Ryan's average seed in the NCAA Tournament is about a 4, so he typically doesn't play 4 seeds or higher until the Sweet 16. While he hasn't been GREAT in the tournament, he usually performs to the level that is expected of his seed before bowing out (e.g. this year, unless Wisconsin beats 'Zona). Although there have been a couple of years where this obviously wasn't the case.

    I'm done now lol.

Unfortunately that's covered in the 2nd year of the masters program.

Closer to a 5, but yes.

Baylor is a street gang that plays basketball.
    Lmao racist much?

I think Kyle Anderson, if he plays well, will be the difference. Florida doesn't have a player like that.

I need it for my bracket, though, so I'm just sort of hoping.

I really like the navy UCLA jerseys, but it just doesn't look right.
