And the point of resurfacing that post? Lol. Three of the teams mentioned as number one seeds in my post above -- Arizona, Florida and Wichita State -- have locked up number one seeds, just like I and most others thought they would several weeks ago. The only reason Syracuse has fallen out of the running is because, as I stated would have to happen, something drastic happened. They lost at home to Boston College (8-21, 14th ACC) and Georgia Tech (14-16, 13th ACC).

Anyway, nobody is more pleased than I am at Syracuse stumbling.

Those teams have created quite a bit of separation from everyone else at this point. With the resumes they've built to date, Syracuse, Florida and Arizona would really have to fall off the map (e.g. lose 3 or 4 more games or something) to drop off the one line. That's not an impossible scenario, especially for a team like Arizona trying to re-invent itself after a significant injury, but the chances of that are pretty miniscule, in my view. Although, who knows.

Since I do agree that something we didn't anticipate will probably happen (it usually does), my guess is that Wichita loses in its conference tournament, leaving room for someone like Louisville, Duke, Saint Louis, Nova or maybe even Kansas (if they ran the table) to sneak in.

Weird. That's exactly what happened to Syracuse.

It is weird considering you said there was a minuscule chance. Lol

    Who cares. Lol.

Syracuse lost at home to two teams that are a combined 22-37. Unless you did, nobody predicted that. If the Orange beat those two pathetic teams in the Carrier Dome they are 28-2 right now and a top seed lock. It took a crazy series of events for Syracuse to self-destruct like they have. So yeah, I stand by my original comments.

I'm going to go back to the other number one seed thread now.

The more I think about this, the more I get utterly pissed that they essentially count every fucking game except two conference title games...and it IS going to affect the seeding of 3 teams (Michigan St, Michigan and Kentucky).

I mean, they will count a result from November 12th, and teams are completely different than they were then, but ignore huge games from March 16th?

I'm running a bracket-challenge for family and friends, so when they're available tonight, could someone please recommend a good online bracket that can be easily filled out and emailed to me. Thanks.
