NFL missing on Freddy Barnes?

karen lotzThat very well may be, he wasn't a very good route runner and that might have something to do with the fact he has only been playing the position for 3 years. When he does get the ball in his hands he is very tough to bring down and is always looking to make a big play, not just catch the ball and get on the ground.

september63Fair enough!! GL to them both Karen.

karen lotzYep, I'd for sure like to see Barnes succeed. I grew up 15 minutes from BG and have always followed them.

Gobuckeyes1Barnes will get a chance...someone will use a late round pick on him.
I think he can be a solid possession type receiver in the NFL because of his hands. He won't be a gamebreaker, but he can play on Sunday, IMO. -

I spit my drink all over my monitor when I read this one. Barnes couldn't hold Golden's JOCK!september63 wrote: Barnes will be a more productive WR in the NFL than Golden Tate ever will!! -

Did the NFL scouts close their eyes so as not to see Barnes? Or are there rules that they can only scout 1 player at a time?september63 wrote: Just set the single seaon record with 143 receptions. Has 18 TD's and about 1600 yards. Yet NFL scouts at the game arent there for him but for an Idaho player. He is projected 4-7 round draft pick because of a 4.65 40. Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 in last college 40.
